Peaceful and relaxing escape amidst beautiful scenery close to Lake Chautauqua! Leave the hustle and bustle behind and reconnect with friends, and family while enjoying tons of activities.
The space
The Great Room:
This room boasts 2.5 stories, with exposed beam ceilings with fans and a loft overhead. The floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace is the room’s magnificent focal point. The room also includes a new 47” HD television, dining area with seating for up to 10 guests, and a bar with small refrigerator.
The Kitchen:
Open to the great room, the kitchen includes a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker and is fully stocked with cookware and dishes.
Living Room:
Includes a comfy sectional sofa and 35” television.
Bistro Room:
The Italian-themed dining room with exposed beam ceiling, stucco walls, and picture window. Seating for up to 12 guests.
Bedrooms:
4 bedrooms & sleeping loft accommodate up to 12 guests. Two bedrooms downstairs, each with a queen bed. Two bedrooms upstairs, one with a double bed, the other with a queen bed. Sleeping loft with two double beds and 2 twin beds.
Bathroom:
One bathroom upstairs with claw-foot tub. One bathroom downstairs with separate oversized walk-in shower.
Grounds:
Sliding doors open to a grassy area surrounding the cottage, with a gas grill, gazebo, deck, water garden, and plenty of seating for dining al fresco. We also have a horseshoe pit and space for your favorite lawn games (don’t forget to bring your bocce, croquet, and ladder toss sets).
The back side of the cottage, just outside the bistro room, is home to the firepit. Extra chairs provide seating for everyone around the campfire.
The barn includes a pool table, ping pong table, seating area, and a bar. A basketball hoop is installed outside.
Take the path out back behind the barn up to our pond. It has a sandy beach with chairs. The depth in the middle reaches 10 feet. Bring your own floats and fishing poles (catch and release). Please note that we no longer provide kayaks. Beyond that lay 40 acres with various trails for hiking, bird-watching, and seasonal hunting.

What will be provided for renters?
A fully supplied kitchen with dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, pans, coffeemaker, toaster, microwave, gas stove, and 2 refrigerators.
Dishsoap, garbage bags, toilet paper.
What should renters bring?
Paper goods (towels, napkins, plates).
High chair, portable crib or pack & play for our smallest guests.
Soap and shampoo for bath/shower
We welcome well behaved and house trained pets. Please clean up after them.
Fishing in our pond is just for fun. Catch and release please.
Children and weak swimmers should wear life jackets while swimming. A supply of life jackets is kept in the barn.
Smoking is not permitted in the lodge
Water Use: the cottage is supplied by well water, which should be used sparingly, especially during dry summers. We suggest that you bring bottled water for drinking, as the well water can have a strong taste.
Phone Use: cell phone service is limited on the property. A landline is available for local calls or short calls to the greater Buffalo area. We use the honor system: .50 for local calls, $1.00 for calls to Buffalo.
The cottage accommodates up to 12 overnight guests. Please, no additional visitors allowed at any time due to limited water supply and septic capacity. No campers, recreational vehicles, or tents are allowed on-site.

We LOVE cottage country in Canada. Love to take a family vacation every year with our parents in their 80's, whom have been coming up here for years. Not many left, so we want to do as many more as their health allows.
