About this listing
My cousin Kelly and I have been hosting visitors from all over the world since 2011. Beautiful, modern and minimalistic, our tri-level townhouse is a great place to relax and recharge your batteries after a long day in the hustle and bustle of Hollywood.
The home has hardwood floors throughout, a cozy living-room with 46" TV and Blu-Ray player, gas fireplace, granite countertops, a private washer and dryer for your use and new furniture. Depending on the season, you'll have access to our sustainable urban vegetable garden to make salads, grill vegetables or just snack on mother nature's organic goodness.
What's so 'Zen' about our place? Well, for starters, our house (email hidden)ter you step in the door there will be a place for your outdoor footwear. Inside you can enjoy peace and quiet, if you choose, to meditate, read or rest.
YOUR BEDROOM & BATHROOM
Your private bedroom is on the second floor and has a modern, medium-firm queen size bed which sleeps two comfortably. Your room comes with its own private bathroom, complete with spacious and powerful shower and bathtub. You'll have full use of the walk-in closet as well as a desk that you can use as work space if you'd like.
KITCHEN & BREAKFAST
You'll have full access to our modern kitchen to prepare meals for yourself and, whenever I'm available, it will be my pleasure to cook you a hot breakfast in the morning. Otherwise, cereal, toast and other 'continental breakfast' items will available for you to enjoy (only for stays of 14 days or less).
Our house is on a small, quiet residential street with other houses and apartment buildings. There is a grocery store, 7-Eleven and a few restaurants within walking distance. To take full advantage of all LA has to offer you'll need to be mobile.
NEARBY ATTRACTIONS & DRIVING
By car, our home is an easy 12-minute drive to Hollywood, 19 minutes to downtown, 20 minutes to Griffith Park and 23 minutes to the Beach (Santa Monica Pier), West Hollywood and Beverly Hills. LAX is a 30-minute drive and BUR (Burbank Airport) is just 12 minutes away.
Contrary to popular belief, traffic in LA actually is avoidable and we'll be happy to give you tips on the best times to be on the road. When at home, you'll have access to the garage and a secure, underground parking spot for your vehicle.
Our tri-level townhouse puts you a 7-minute walk from frequent, rapid public transit on the Metro Orange Line, just one stop away from the Los Angeles subway, the Metro Red Line. Universal Studios, is an easy 4-minute subway ride, or continue 4 minutes more and you'll be at the epicenter of all things Hollywood–the Hollywood & Highland entertainment complex. Downtown is just a 25-minute subway journey away and, for the more adventurous, continue on the train all the way to Long Beach!
Whatever your reason for visiting LA, my cousin Kelly and I will help you feel right at home. We look forward to hosting you!

Kelly is a great girl!
The room was clean, big, beautiful, very spacious and with a huge showerand with a beautiful private and romantic terrace on the second floor.
Situated in one of the best and safest areas of Los Angeles.
You can actually walk around is close to Ralphs, and if you like to explore around is really near at Noho Arts District. Parking is easy.
I've lived in LA for three months and I can say there's no better place than Kelly house.
I enjoyed my stay at Kelly's. The neighborhood is great. Plenty pf restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance, even Taco Bell way after hours. The location was convenient to many parts of LA. Highway traffic is highway traffic, and can't be avoided, but most times it wasn't so bad - I used Google Maps (great to estimate time of arrival). The room was clean, spacious, very private, and quiet from the inside & outside. The private bathroom and closet space (walk-in) were perfect. Kelly is a cool host; felt very comfortable around her. We had some common territories, and talked when she or I were not on the go. I would recommend a visit with Kelly anytime.
Kelly's Townhouse if very spacious and Kelly is very accommodating. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom and there is an additional bathroom on the first floor by the living room which is very convenient.
Los dueños de casa (Ryan y Kelly) son muy cálidos y discretos. Siempre dispuestos a dar consejos y sugerencias. La casa corresponde fielmente a la descripción publicada. Muy satisfechos por la estadía.
Coming from Las Vegas, we arrived "Ryan's" in the early evening. Kelly gave us a warm welcome, show us all in the house and asked for our wishes for breakfast. Soon all things could be found in "our" board in the fridge :-). We met Ryan in the next evening, when he was back from a weekend trip and he also welcomes us like friends. He helped us with tickets for the Universal Studios (with discount!) and with information about using bus and metro. We met each other in the 4 days of our stay only for minutes, but it was like being at home with friends, both of them, Kelly and Ryan. Thank you so much again! Whenever you are in germany, let us know. There will alwalys be a place to sleep at our house!
Bed, Room, Bathroom and all that other details of the house were better than described and the fotos! "Better than a hotel!" we said - and thats it!
To all out there: book Ryan at airbnb - it was an amazing time for us in L.A. especcially at Ryan's home!
Marcus & Claudia
Ryan & Kelly are wonderful hosts. They are super friendly, welcoming & make you feel right at home. They offered great advice on places to go & stuff to see. Kelly very kindly took us to the bus station in her car on our first night there - just above & beyond. The place felt like home almost instantly. We even got to know their neighbours a little! Such a great neighbourhood. We really felt that Ryan & Kelly didn't just open their home to us but their hearts as well. They have us so much of their time, just chatting & getting to know us. It was very sad to leave when the time came. The room was beautiful, spacious & comfortable. The walk-in closet is more than enough & the en-suite is beautiful. Ryan has an extremely interesting life story that we were privileged to hear about & Kelly is so generous & easy to get along with. I can't recommend them enough! They are just good people. We are already looking forward to our next trip!
Ryan is really helpful. He gave us free lift, ordered ticket for us…We also experienceed a very unforgetful party with them, where we made our first pizza!! Their room is really nice, modern and tidy. It deserves your choice!!!

About the Host, Kelly
Travel. Soccer. Movies/TV. That pretty much sums me up! I moved to Los Angeles 4 1/2 years ago and begin hosting travelers from all over the world with my roommate. We enjoyed it so much, we decided to try out AirBnb and have loved every guest that has stayed with us.
Last year the international travel bug hit me, and hit me hard! For several years I had a trip planned for South America (Uruguay, Brazil, & Argentina). I hadn't learned Spanish like I promised myself I would and was with my mother who knew less Spanish than I did... I knew it was going to be interesting. And interesting it was! But it was also amazing, fantastic, and magical at times. We met some lovely people in each country and still keep in contact with one of them.
When I returned, I tried to get back into the swing of things, going to work, hosting more guests. Then an opportunity arose for me to go to Europe. So on a spur of the moment decision, I decided to fly to Dublin to meet a good friend (that we had hosted with AirBnb, actually!). After a few days there, we hopped over to France. What a wonderful and lovely trip. The magic of traveling is something that you never fully realize until you do it... and it gets better the more you take advantage of those times.
Other than traveling, I work, follow the soccer world, watch movies and hang out with friends. What more could you ask for?!
