Home like lodging with great location and LOTS of amenities.
I'm excited about the possibility of hosting you...
I recently moved back to the city I love (Los Angeles) and into a new apartment. It is a great place in a great location. I'm three miles from the airport, a couple of minutes from the 405 freeway; there's a major shopping mall (Fox Hills/Westfield Mall) in the immediate area; there's another shopping area immediately south of my place (Howard Hughes Complex) which also has a great movie theater; what thrills me most is my place is 5 to 10 miles from the surrounding beach communities (Manhattan Beach, Venice and Santa Monica).
The downtown Culver City area is a great spot with lots of restaurant choices and a movie theater.
A neighborhood park is a couple of blocks away featuring tennis courts, exercise equipment and walking trails. If you're feeling really ambitious, the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook Stairs are just minutes away - a must experience activity to add to your plans, the views from the top are breathtaking.
So many options close by!
I'm just getting started but have the basic to fully function during your stay. The bedroom has a new queen size bed and bedding, along with ample closet space, the kitchen has pots, pans, utensils, etc. - most things needed to prepare meals, I have Direct TV and Wired and Wireless internet service also available. There are three pools, a gym, spa with jacuzzi and dry sauna among the amenities available for use. There's also a laundry room close by on the premises.
**I'm sorry but No Pets/No Smoking allowed.
***Please be aware that for security purposes I will need to see your driver's license/passport upon arrival.

Valerie was great and actually offered to drive me around when she heard I hadn't rented a car! I didn't take her up on her offer, but that's way above and beyond expectations! :)
The only thing I'd suggest is that she get a dining table or some sort of desk, since currently it is awkward to work with a laptop in her apartment. By the time you read this, maybe she'll have gotten one!
I would definitely consider staying here again should I ever need to be in LA again.
Valerie was an exceptional host and the apartment was great. She was very responsive and flexible, and made sure I had everything I needed for a great stay. I had an excellent experience!
I highly recommend reserving Valerie's one bedroom apartment when seeking lodging in LA. The unit sits in a well-maintained complex with secured parking and swimming pools. The location is convenient to LAX, the beaches, Santa Monica, and the film studios. The apartment is refreshing, spotless and bright with a relaxing outside patio. The kitchen and bath are modern and fully equipped. Valerie was a fantastic host. She was very accommodating and helpful when I checked in and out. She provided me great tips from hiking options to a possible event traffic congestion alert. Valerie is spirited and attentive, and she genuinely cares about the comfort of her guests. I had a great stay in Valerie's "chic(ish)" apartment, and I left feeling rejuvenated and re-energized.
This was my 3rd time staying at Valerie's place (I like to think of it as my vacation home) I love the location and how clean it is. Valerie is responsive and so kind and warm. I would 100% recommend this place to others! I just hope that the calendar is open the next time I want to use it. I love the shopping center that close by, the movie theatre, the park (which I use for walking in the morning) Its all just a perfect place for me and that's why I keep going back.
I'm going to start calling Valerie's place my "second home" because I'm already planning another trip there again which will be my 3rd. Her place is spacious, clean and in a great location. I actually had some time this trip to take a walk and went to the nearby park. My favorite thing about her apartment is that there is a huge counter for the bathroom, where I can lay out all my stuff. I also appreciate that she puts waters in the refrigerator for me. I actually got to meet her this trip and she is a fantastic person. She communicates well and timely and really cares about her guests. I can't say enough about it, but don't want to say too much because she will always be booked and I won't have my second home to go to. LOL
My "staycation" at Valerie's place was just what I needed and then some. Her place is beautiful, immaculate and felt like home. What a nice change from a hotel! Valerie was attentive, very kind and went the extra mile to ensure I had a great stay. She asked me for my breakfast preferences and provided yogurt, fresh fruit, tea and bottled water. I love her place and can't wait to do it again. Thanks Valerie, you are a sweetheart!
From the very beginning Valerie was excellent on communicating with me. She has a heart of gold and cares very much for the people that stay at her place to make sure that they are comfortable. Her apartment has is very clean and lives up to my standards ( which is saying a lot) it's in a Great location next to a mall and a grocery store called sprouts which is very good for people who are healthy minded. There is a lot to do around there and it's also close to major freeways. It's a very secure building So you have to use the key to get in and out of the parking garage and to her apartment. The apartment had everything I needed and it was large and relaxing. I haven't lived in an Apartment for a very long time so I did have to get used to the noise of other people living above and on either side of her place. It wasn't bad, it's just that I noticed it because I'm not used to it. I plan on returning to Valerie's place to stay there again in the future!
