  • Great hosts, nice area of town, but not what I expected. The picture shows 2 beds in a loft but I was given a cot in a room with 12 other guys. Overall 2/5.

  • Moving from one coast of the US to another is an experience, and I'm lucky to find HackherHouse as a stepping stone to living in San Francisco. As a plus I met so many inspiring people pushing in the different fields of technology. The environment is exciting, and the neighborhood is in the middle of Dogpatch. Rob is a great host and very knowledgable about a variety of topics, which was very helpful for the different endeavors I'm pursuing. Thanks Rob!

  • This is an awesome place, awesome loft, good location, awesome people .. Just overall awesome. If u get a chance to hangout with vic and the rest of the crew from the other hacker homes you'll see the family this has become and you'll be sad to leave. Vic does say that this place might not be for light sleepers, im a light sleeper and didnt face much trouble with it because there's ear plugs all over the place :) .. If u wanna meet people, make meaningful connections and enjoy san francisco then this is the place for you! .. It certainly was a great experience for me.

  • Vic's HackerHomes (he has several in SF and SV) are not just a place to stay -- they'(email hidden)ly community of engineers, entrepreneurs and creatives coming to the Bay Area from various parts of the world. I stayed in the apartment in Dogpatch for a few weeks, and it was an exciting experience. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone who's into startups and looking for a short stay in SF.

  • The hacker house was a great place for my temporary stay in San Francisco. When I first arrived I was greeted welcomely by everyone. The location is great, very close to downtown SOMA which was very convenient for me. Everyone in the house was in the tech scene which made hanging out at home really fun, as people had like interests and we could just talk about anything. Also VIc and the other housemates frequently invited me to go out with them to eat dinner or have drinks.

I would definitely recommend the hacker house for anyone looking for a temporary place to live.

  • The house itself is large and clean, allowing to (email hidden) of entrepreneurs and hackers. It is convenient enough to reach and within walking distance of grocery stores and cafe.

Vic was extremely helpful and genuinely committed to make sure his hosts are taken care off. Kudos for buying croissants, berries and whole bunch of other things for the house.

Will definitely go there next time I'm in SF.
