Thank you Nick (and Jess) for a pleasant stay in your apartment. It is very well located for the city centre, food shopping and for journeys out of the city. Despite being an attic space the apartment has plenty of light and air and does not get too hot (not that it ever does in Ireland!). The bed is very comfortable.
Nick is very accommodating and I enjoyed a traditional(ish) music session one evening at one of the local pubs with him and his daughter (Nick was playing bass!).
I am on a long term project in Waterford and I will definitely book again when there is availability; it is much better than staying in a hotel as it is like having your own space.
All the best for now.
We had a wonderful stay at Nick's house . Quite centrally located to the city centre and other tourist attractions . Sad we didn't get a chance to say goodbye and thank him .
Nick was a most gracious host. I arrived later than expected and was greeted warmly. The apartment is lovely, exactly as pictured, ideally located and both clean and well equipped. I will definitely stay here again if I return to Waterford.
Nick was very accommodating and made us welcome right away. The apartment was very warm and cozy, and is a very convenient walk to the Viking Triangle as described. He was punctual in e-mail correspondence, and a grocery store was within easy walking distance to the brownstone, also as described. We enjoyed our stay with Nick very much. Very comfortable bed.
My wife and I stayed at Nicholas' apartment for 2 days at the end of May, and we couldn't have been more pleased. Nicholas is the most wonderful host explaining all the ins and outs of Waterford. He is quite proud of living in the center of Waterford outlining all of the must see Waterford sites to visit during our stay; directed us to the local market; highlighted the lively pub scene in the city center; helped us secure assistance with our car hire tire repair; and was available for any question that we had; etc. The apartment met all of our expectations and was clean, quiet, quite comfortable, and convenient for our walkabouts into Waterford city center. We highly recommend it for those wanting close proximity to Waterford city center. Thank you, Nicholas, for all of your wonderful hospitality !
Thanks to Nicholas for welcoming us to his apartment in Waterford. The location was terrific, as it was less than a 10 minute walk to the city of Waterford and the attractions of the triangle. Tesco would be a 2 minute walk allowing us to eat in. The only concern was the flights of stairs with the suitcases which Nicholas offered to assist. We loved Waterford and would certainly return. Many thanks Nicholas for having us stay.
The is the second time I stayed with Nicholas. The flat is really nice, one of the best I have stayed in. The only draw-back is the wifi, which isnt great.
