Waterford airport is a 15-minute drive away and Dublin and Cork are both an hour and a half by road. There are also frequent rail and bus services to both. For those who love the coast Tramore, one of Irelands most delightful seaside resorts is just seven miles south of Waterford City. There are many scenic drives and walks along the Copper Coast or through the stunning Comeragh mountains for daytrips out.

Waterford holds numerous festivals throughout the year and there is always a full and varied programme of events in the local theatres and clubs. Nick has close links with the artistic community in the city and has enjoyed hosting many visiting artists, musicians, actors and crew.

This home is small but comfortable and just a 5 minute walk to the grocery and two minutes more into the heart of Waterford. The flat is a three floor walk up, which was fine for us but could be tough w several kids or families with limited mobility. The kitchen was well equipped with everything one might need and the linens were really cozy. Nick and Nina were friendly and went out of their way to make sure we got great views of the float set up for the amazing Sproai parade! Waterford is a fun town to stay in and was honestly one of the highlights of our five town Ireland trip! There was parking and everything in town was walkable so we never worried much about moving the car in our 3 day stay. If you are sensitive to mold this flat might not be the fit for you, as my mom and in both had slight allergies there, but otherwise this is a great place to live stay. We would definelty go back if we find ourselves in Waterford again.

We stayed at Nick's place for 2 nights. The location was good, close to pubs, shops and main sights in the city, and the place was a good size for 2 people. Overall, we enjoyed our time there.
