This place is just perfect, perfect, perfect. Firstly, Leonardo was a incredible host! We mentioned we would be arriving pretty late at night and after a long journey from the airport, we finally made it very late in the evening. Thankfully with communication with Leonardo, he was very accommodating with that. Once we arrived, Leonardo showed us around the entire house which was superb. It's an old horse stable, but you'd never know. It's so cosy. We asked for a recommendation of a restaurant as we had no food for dinner, which he gave one of his favourites, we went to pretty late and we were very happy with the suggestion. A superb kitchen fully equipped with anything and everything you'd need. Great long table for eating as much pasta as possible. The bedrooms were so lovely. Comfortable beds, great storage, the bathroom was lovely. It's brick flooring but actually pretty nice. A nice distance into town. A quick (seriously, about 5 minutes, if that) bus journey into town. It would be a 20 minute walk, but with the heat it can be unbearable. Also access to a very sweet garden for you to have a drink outside, have dinner, etc. This house has such a lovely view. Waking up to the rolling hills of Siena. Also the flat is equipped with a hair dryer - which is good for future guests.
On a side note, I have been using Airbnb for a few years now and have stayed in several places around the world. I have never in my entire experience have met someone as wonderful as Leonardo. His home, his hosting and his recommendations were out of this world. If you seriously need anywhere to view around Siena, Leonardo has the answer. He recommended San Quirico d'Orcia, Bagno Vignoni, Pienza and Cappella di Vitaleta which were just incredible.
The only minimal downfall about this home was the fact it had no AC - which some nights was pretty hard to sleep. He does have some fans provided in the bedrooms already which did help. Couldn't recommend this place enough. Beyond perfect. Beautiful building and also parking provided if needed.
