A beautiful house with four double bedrooms.
One with King Sized bed, one room with twin beds and two rooms with standard double beds.
A spacious and comfortable 17th century home that is set in the heartland of rural England, surrounded by the Malvern Hills. This beautiful family home has a large garden, tennis court and fields which are home to two very special donkeys and ducks.
This is an ideal location for anyone wanting to visit the Welsh marches and onwards to Wales; Cheltenham, Stratford Upon Avon, Ludlow, Hereford (Mappa Mundi) or simply to enjoy the stunning local scenery and walks on the Malvern Hills
The accommodation is extremely comfortable and cosy, three double bedrooms and a twin room with two bathrooms. Main line station to London Paddington is 5 miles away. Open log fires blaze in the winter and in the summer the gardens are at their best with the option of tennis available.
If the calendar is blocked off do contact me, as I may well be able to accommodate you, I have blocked out work commitments and these are not set in stone.
I live in one end of the house and there is a resident dog (or two that live outside the house) but they are extremely sociable and would welcome visiting furry friends. As long as the visiting furry friends are happy to sleep outside the house, I have an outdoor utility room that is perfect for this purpose. This is a relaxed house and a perfect spot for a getaway peaceful stay.
You are welcome to use the kitchen, two large sitting rooms with fires, tennis court, large garden. Additional meals/cooking available by prior arrangement.
Interaction with Guests
There will be a warm welcome from Liz but unless you need some tips on the local area she will leave you to your own devices as there is plenty of space in the house for yourself.
Incredible walks and views through unspoilt rural England are on the doorstep. Great local pubs, castles and village/towns to explore.
Malvern link train station which has direct services from London is a 10 min taxi.
Other Things to Note
Liz is a fantastic cook and meals are available by separate arrangement. Liz has a large kitchen garden and chickens with amazing free range eggs so the ingredients could not be more delicious.
We are a non smoking house and ask that guests respect that. Breakfast can be a moveable feast. If the arrival time for your stay is going to be late it would be appreciated if we could be given advance warning of your approx arrival time.
Great stay, thanks to Elizabeth. Elizabeth was a very welcoming and kind host. The house and gardens were beautiful and the animals were very entertaining!
We had such a wonderful time! Liz was really kind and the house was gorgeous. We loved all of the animals and thoroughly enjoyed visiting the surrounding area. We would love to go back and wish Liz and family all the best.
Sophie & James
An absolutely lovely place to stay, exactly as described. Elizabeth (Liz) was very warm, welcoming and incredibly helpful. We had free access to kitchen, dining room, lounge etc. (and gardens). Breakfast was waiting for us when we awoke (inc. fresh croissants!) Very close to beautiful Malvern and a very good destination to stop during a tour of the Cotswolds. If you love the countryside then you will probably love to stay here :-)

Great place to stay. Superb price/quality. Real nice host this Liz is! She does everything to make you feel at home. Like her place does; inviting, relaxing and inspiring.
Near cricketfields and Malvern.
We had a family wedding over the weekend and needed a place to stay with our 2 young boys. From the get go Liz was the perfect host liaising with us promptly before our arrival, giving us directions and buying in good specially for our breakfast! When we arrived we were delights, the location, the house, the view and rooms were perfect and Liz made us feel so at home and comfortable. To top it off there were two donkeys, ducks, friendly dogs and even a tennis court which the kids loved. We thoroughly recommend a stay here. Thanks Liz for an amazing stay.
Well, I live in the rural peace of Worcestershire looking out at the Malvern Hills. I have plenty of space to keep chickens, ducks, dogs and donkeys. I work in a local Prep School which occupies my time during the various academic terms.
I travel when I have the time, destinations varied.
The basics of life's pleasures are probably fairly high on my list of enjoyments. Reading, enjoy preparing food/ cooking (and eating) Enjoy sharing reviews of books and films. As I have several enegetic four legged friends to walk, I have a good knowledge of local walks. I am fairly easy going and enjoy meeting people and exchanging /sharing life's vagueries. Hasta la vista.
