It is your choice - do you want "a room", or "an apartment", or "a condo" - or, do you want your very own, fully equipped, fully furnished, free standing vacation rental with no neighbors on the other side of the wall?
Our home (Casa Noche) and our guest house (Casita Noche) are situated in Samara Reefs, the most exclusive gated community of single family homes in the Samara/Carrillo area. Samara Reefs is only 1.2 kilometers outside of the village of Samara and is a short 5-minute drive to Playa Carrillo, one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Central America. We are located on the first ridgeline above Playa Samara, offering a beautiful, unobstructed white-water ocean view including the reefs and Isla Chora, our beautiful little island in Bahia Samara, plus "the sounds of the sea!"
The trip from either the San Jose or Liberia airport to our front door is via 100% paved roadways (unusual for even the better homes in Costa Rica). Accessed through a security-controlled gate, Casa Noche and Casita Noche are well removed from the remaining seven homes of Samara Reefs and offer a great deal of privacy, allowing you to hear the pleasant sound of waves coming ashore as well as the sounds of our neighbors – the birds and howler monkeys!
Casita Noche sits just above Casa Noche (its closest neighbor at about 50m distance), and shares the same driveway. Our guests benefit from twice weekly housekeeping service and, in addition to the eco-friendly laundry services in town (less than 5 minutes away, with delivery) we sometimes make our laundry room available as we have done for others before. For larger parties, the luxurious main house is also available for rent – contact the owner for details.
The Casita is beautifully decorated, and offers one bedroom with a queen size bed (importd mattress from USA), dresser, nightstand, closet, ensuite bathroom, air conditioning and ceiling fan. The living room includes a comfortable couch, air conditioning, ceiling fan, coffee and dining tables, 4 chairs and opens up into a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, wine cooler, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, glass-top electric stove, counter-top oven, ceiling fan, built-in cabinets and pantry, cookware, dishes, utensils, etc.
Additionally, Casita Noche has high speed internet, flat screen TV (can be set up in either bedroom or living room), cable TV and a DVD player with large DVD library to choose from.
In short, Casita Noche offers all of the comforts of home with incredible ocean views in a safe, private and peaceful setting! Come and indulge yourself with the sounds of the sea, allowing your imagination to reach the distant ocean horizon.
Come & enjoy Playa Samara, it is a very special little piece of Paradise - and the comforts of Casita Noche will enhance your vacation experience!
Simple rules: Relax, enjoy, no smoking indoors and no pets allowed. Treat our property the same as if it were yours, and all will be well.
Staying with Donna and Bill was a wonderful experience! They are both extremely kind and helpful people and their house as well as the Casita are great. Everything was perfectly clean and fully equipped. Bill even organised a chair for our babyson and gave us a tour through Sámara!
My wife Donna and I were both born & raised in Houston TX. Married in 1970 and began our family soon thereafter. We moved to Tampa FL in 1986, were we lived until I retired in 2008 and we made the big leap to our dream house in Playa Samara. We purchased our lot in 2003, and immediately began planning the house and the move. After almost 3 long years of construction the finish of the house coincided with the sale of the house in Tampa, so it was time for the adventure to begin. Our 2 kids and 6 smiling grandkids are still in the States, but we get to have all of them here at least once a year, and we make it back to the States 2-3 times a year to spend time with them. I really hope you have decided on Samara for your destination, you will love the laid back attitude of the town and the friendly people that live and visit here. We have a great expat community - friends from all over the world that work hard to support Samara and keep it as it is! Even if you don't pick our place, please don't miss Samara - nobody only comes only once.....it is a very special little piece of paradise!
