L'appartamento in ViA Del Corso e' Molto bello e confortevole, in due coppie ci siamo trovati benissimo.
Luigi e ' Molto disponibile.
L'appartamento e' centralissimo e arredato con Molto gusto. A due passi dalla principali attraction I della splendida citta' .
This apartment was perfect for two couples with ample room. It was situated close to Furmino underground which was easy walking with bags. All major attractions were within walking distance, or very easy to take the underground to when it was too hot for walking. Altho this apartment had no air condition even with 35 degrees the two fans helped to cool us at night. Luigi communicated with us easily and was available if we needed to query anything through emails. As mentioned previous there are many steps to this apartment so a reasonable level of fitness is needed. I would use this place again with no hesitation if returning to Rome.
My family stayed 4nights of June in Luigi’s house.(I just a made a reservation) They(3persons) arrived a late night but he welcomed very friendly and kind. And Luigi explained very well and it made my family feel very comfortable in Rome.
The location is perfect so they can walk around at the night, and decoration is unique. I hope When I travel to Rome, I also want to stay Luigi’s house. Alla prossima, Grazie!
This is a beautiful apartment, and about as central as you can get in Rome.
If you are in Rome for a few days, and want to be as close as possible to the major sites, this is a fantastic location. It's within walking distance of much of what you come to see, and everything else is a very convenient subway ride away.
The apartment is very large, and beautifully decorated. We appreciated that the kids' room (the front living room with sofa bed) and ours were well separated so we all had some privacy. It's obviously been completely renovated recently, and everything from the woodwork to the bathroom fixtures is pristine. The furnishings are comfortable and tasteful.
You should be aware that the apartment is on a very busy street in a commercial part of town, right on one of the busiest shopping streets in the city, across from an H&M. The noise didn't bother us, but we did miss being in a real neighborhood with local parks and shops. If you're coming for a longer stay, and want to feel more a part of a Roman neighborhood, this might not be the right fit.
Also be aware that the internet was very very slow. I know, you shouldn't come to Rome and spend your days on a computer! But we are traveling for 7 months and home schooling, so for us the internet connectivity was a challenge.
Overall, this was great value for money, and perfect for a family hoping to pack as much as possible into a few days in Rome.
It's a great apartment in an unbeatable location. Close to all the sites all within walking distance. The apartment is comfortable and there is someone to greet you upon arrival. There are several flights of stairs which boil down to good exercise after too much pasta and vino! Special note I forgot my phone charger and rang Luigi from the airport and he was able to deliver it to me without any trouble!
Great stay at fantastic place! The apartment is clean and cosy. Luigi is a wonderful host. Thank you!
Wonderful location with everything within walking distance. Metro and taxis in nearby Piazza Popolo if you need them. My mother and daughter and I had a great 5 days on Luigi's flat and really enjoyed Rome. The flat had everything we needed, and because of the location, we walked everywhere. The terrace (pictured) is off the back bedroom, which is quiet. The front room was noisy from the street. Definitely not for people who would struggle with climbing to the fourth floor. My daughter counted 73 steps! However, very enjoyable and comfortable place.
We had a wonderful and very comfortable stay at Luigis's Apartment in Via del Corso. Many thanks to his friendly father, who let us in at our quite late arrival time. Check-in and out was very uncomplicated and flexible. The apartment is absolutely comfortable and clean. Very charming and interesting art pieces at the walls and more than enough place for a family of four. The apartment is located in the quieter part of lively Via del Corso, so noise from the street you have only in the front room. The room in the back - is wonderfully quiet. We could do most of our sightseeing by feet - lots of places are so close - like Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, piazza del Popolo. Our only complain is about the weather - three of four days we had heavy rains. So we have to come back for a second time to great Via del Corso apartment! Angela and family - March 2014
We had a wonderful stay at Luigi's beautiful flat. It is centrally located and an easy walk to most of Rome's historic center. The flat is very well appointed and comfortable. Perfect for a couple or small family. Luigi and his family could not have been nicer or more welcoming.
Two small caveats: Given the central location on the Via del Corso (near Piazza del Popolo), the flat can get noisy sometimes. It is also a walk-up, so if you have problems with steps, this flat is not for you. If occasional street noise and steps are no problem, though, you will love this place. We did, and hope to return.
Thank you again, Luigi!
