  • Federica was a great host. Very friendly and helpful to introduce me to different parts of the city. The room was very clean and spacious. Also the area was close enough to the city center but quiet enough for a good nights rest. I Would definitely recommend and would stay there myself again.

  • The reservation was canceled 2 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

  • I primarily talked with Sara. She did a great job of explaining everything and was very helpful. She even made me some coffee after I burned it on my first try. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and facilities overall were clean and functional.

  • Room is just like in the photos. Easiest way to get there is to get the Metro to San Giovanni and it is a very short walk. Handy enough to help yourself to breakfast in the morning.

However, our room was facing the main road, which must have been near a hospital because we heard ambulance sirens constantly. It was very warm (even in early October) so we had the windows open at night but it was hard to sleep with the noise and we got bitten by mosquitos! Our stay would have been 5 stars if there was air con/fan so we could close the windows at night to keep out the mosquitos and the noise.

  • It was nice and clean. Walking distance from the Coliseum. The bed was comfortable, we had our own private bathroom, which was nice. It was really close to the metro and the area was very safe. The locals were very friendly especially the ice cream/gelato man down the street. The street was loud at times. There are a lot of sirens and barking dogs and the street noise was quite loud during the night.

  • Despite what others say I did not find this place to be conveniently located. It is about a 6 block walk to the metro station which isn't bad but to get to central rome for prime tourist stuff you have to be on the hot, stuffy, overcrowded metro for about 20-30 mins. If you are not someone who is a city dweller then I do not recommend this place. The room I was in was very loud. I personally live in the heart of a major city and the noise bothered me. There has to be a fire station/police station near by because you hear sirens constantly all night long. If you are from the US the area is going to look very rough to you, but it seemed pretty safe.

Another thing is this is Italy... They are not very good at having signs up to help you navigate. Make sure you print out a metro map before you come because they do not have maps posted in the station. You have to know what line to get on prior to even getting to the station or you will be wandering around lost.

Keep in mind that you have to pay 2euro per night tax. This must be in cash.

If you are someone who lives in a city and can easily navigate chaos then this place is ok. Elsa is great. She was very kind and helpful. The rooms look just how they are pictured and are very large.

  • This was a beautiful and perfectly located apartment. It was close to the station so I could always jump on the tube and go somewhere though I preferred to walk. Elsa was a LOVELY and kind host (and your English is excellent Elsa!) who gave me good advice on the city. It was also a good experience sharing a house with other people and making new friends.

  • This was my first visit to Rome. I reserved this bnb because it was central, the room looked contemporary and pleasant, the reviews of the host were good and organic breakfasts were promoted. The location was close to the Metro, buses and a taxi stand. The room was as it appears in the photos on the website -- comfortable, clean, with a large closet. Though natural light through the windows was fine, artificial light for reading was lacking. My room, looking onto a pretty courtyard, was road-side, so noisy, but rooms on the other side were quieter. You will not meet Marco or Lucia (who I corresponded with and expected to meet), as they are no longer the hosts. Instead, I was met by Elsa, a friendly and very helpful young woman, more than willing to play concierge. She was delightful. Help yourself to breakfast, but don't expect much "organic" fare besides some biscuits made with organic flour. Choose this place for the location and Elsa.

  • Had a great time staying here when I was in Rome.
The pictures are spot on, and the room is spacious, be aware that some rooms don't have aircon, but I don't think they're open in AUG as it can get really hot, and no one is around anyway.
Marco wasn't around, but Lucia was looking after the place while he was away. Still no problems with the communications, it was always very fast to get a response. This place is run more like and B&B though, so it's not as intimate as some of the other airbnb places that I've stayed it - as long as you're aware of this.
The breakfast items are from Marco's organic farm in the southern parts of Italy, and it's great ti know this, they also taste great too!
The location is close enough to the station, and if you're a keen walker, you could walk anywhere. It was clean, and I felt very safe staying here. Lucia is very friendly and likes to have a conversation, and she also catered for my late check out - which was definitely to her credit. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone that's looking for no nonsense place to stay in Rome, with a local touch, but also your own privacy.
