The Fab apartment was completely restored and redecorated by interior designers and it is placed in a very charming cobblestone street in Trastevere, every point of interest of Rome is within 5-30 minutes walk, this is your best home in Rome!
The apartment is located on the second floor of a recently renovated building in a very charming cobblestone street in Trastevere. There is no elevator at present, but access to the apartment is easy. The apartment was completely restored and redecorated in 2013 and includes parquet, beams, and large double glazed windows looking out onto Viale Trastevere, Ponte Garibaldi and the Tiber. The living room is decorated in soft grays and includes a sofa which opens up into a large double bed, a dining table and chairs, a coffee table and a large flat-screen TV. The separate kitchen is light and has plenty of work surface. It is equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, a stove, an oven, a toaster, a microwave, a coffee maker, a washing machine, a quiet dish-washer, cooking utensils, and plates, glasses, and cutlery for four people. The double bedroom is light and cosy feeling. There is a large double bed, a dressing table, a wall mirror and a high resolution flat-screen TV. The bathroom has been completely redone and includes a toilet, a bidet, a sink and a shower. Bedding and towels for four are included.
Free Internet WIFI access.
It is located in a quiet area despite being in the heart of Trastevere.
Just outside the apartment block is Piazza San Cosimato where there is a large fruit and vegetable market every morning except Sundays. Here you will find not only fruit and vegetable stalls, but also cheeses, flowers, various other edible products such as olives, nuts, bread, pizza, and on and on. On Sunday mornings the famous Roman flee market Porta Portese is literally five minutes walk away. Here there are some real antiques, bric-a-brac, new and old clothes, and oddities of all sorts.
Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere is the most popular gathering place in the area. In this square you will find the church Santa Maria in Trastevere, one of the oldest and most beautiful churches in Rome and very much worth a visit. The neighbouring streets have a variety of stores, restaurants, and service-oriented businesses as well as beautiful residences.
Equidistant from the Coliseum and the Vatican, Trastevere is the ideal place to discover the secrets of Rome on foot. Saint Peter's and the Vatican are about twenty minutes away and upon crossing the Tiber you get to Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps, the Roman Forum, and many other sights in no time at all. If you want to take public transportation, the area is extremely well served by the tram and the electric buses of Rome.

Grazie Maria e Silvana!
We were picked up when we arrived at the airport and taken to the apartment by a driver. We travelled a bit faster than we were used to but arrived safely. We were met at the apartment by a friendly house keeper who showed us around the rooms and answered our questions. The rooms were spacious, clean and well furnished, there was even a bottle of wine to enjoy. We were very pleased with the apartment and it was situated within walking distance of the sites we wanted to visit such as the Pantheon, The Colosseum, Vatican City and the Spanish Steps. At the end of our stay we were taken to the airport in good time for our flight.
Fantastic apartment with all the amenities you could possibly need for a relaxing break in Rome. The general condition of the property and furniture was excellent, and the choice of lamp [Ludwig Mies van der Rohe floor lamp] added great ambiance during the evenings.
The location of the apartment is wonderful since it is away from the touristy part of the city, but close enough to reach via foot. Furthermore, there were many fantastic restaurants dotted in and around the area of Trastevere so you are never short of a good dining experience.
Had an excellent time at the Fab apartment. Process was seamless from Maria's detailed info packages, check in and check out process, and general availability. Apartment was beautiful and elegant. Loved the interior design, the spacious and well equipped kitchen and the comfy master bed room. The neighborhood was brilliant. Exceptional experience and thanks alot, Maria.
We had a lovely stay at the apartment. Great location in Trastevere, very walkable and we liked the neighborhood. Great to have a washing machine available.

I believe that travelling has the power to heal, energize and improve the world, and I’m proud to be a part of this community.
I was born in Rome and raised in Pompeii as both my parents are archaeologists.
I moved back to Rome 15 years ago. My interests are travels, food, photography, foreign languages and my favorite hobby is home design and interior decorating, I enjoy anything creative!
I love Italian, Japanese, Russian and Greek food, I also like to cook.
Travel is definitely my biggest passion and it has taken me and my long time boyfriend Federico to about twenty countries along the five continents.
When I travel, I look for places that are not ultra touristy. I want to experience the restaurants and bars that the locals know and love.
I'm hoping that you seek the same. I can recommend some really cool places and things to see/eat/do if you'd like.
I absolutely love Rome and I am the biggest ambassador for it. I love to welcome people from all over the world to this great city so they can share the love that I have for it as well!
I've had some amazing people from all over the world stay at my place and look forward to hosting you.
See you soon in Rome!
