It is located in a quiet area despite being in the heart of Trastevere.
Just outside the apartment block is Piazza San Cosimato where there is a large fruit and vegetable market every morning except Sundays. Here you will find not only fruit and vegetable stalls, but also cheeses, flowers, various other edible products such as olives, nuts, bread, pizza, and on and on. On Sunday mornings the famous Roman flee market Porta Portese is literally five minutes walk away. Here there are some real antiques, bric-a-brac, new and old clothes, and oddities of all sorts.
Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere is the most popular gathering place in the area. In this square you will find the church Santa Maria in Trastevere, one of the oldest and most beautiful churches in Rome and very much worth a visit. The neighbouring streets have a variety of stores, restaurants, and service-oriented businesses as well as beautiful residences.
Equidistant from the Coliseum and the Vatican, Trastevere is the ideal place to discover the secrets of Rome on foot. Saint Peter's and the Vatican are about twenty minutes away and upon crossing the Tiber you get to Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps, the Roman Forum, and many other sights in no time at all. If you want to take public transportation, the area is extremely well served by the tram and the electric buses of Rome.

The apartment was spotless and beautiful. Maria is so professional. I have stayed in three different apartments in Rome and this was my favorite. Definitely a luxury apartment. Location AAA.
The apartment was exactly as presented in the site. Maria is a professional in hosting and knows very well how to make her guests feel homey. Spacious, clean and well equipped. Moreover it was charmingly decorated.
The neighborhood was even better than expected. Though in Trastevere, it was very quiet and peaceful. All sightseeing, trattoria's, bars were walking distance. A unique experience I certainly recommend!
Maria is a very friendly and professional host, and the apt. was in perfect condition at arrival. The apt. itself is spacious, modern, very well equipped and holds a high standard in all respects. And most important: it is very silent, although it is located close to everything in central Trastevere.
Superb location, well equipped little place and very comfortable to stay in. Around the corner from delightful little lane ways, amazing pizzerias and transport on its doorstep. Highly recommended.
We were stunned when we walked into Maria`s apartment, as it was exactly the same as described in her advert and pictured in photos (less the flowers :)))
The apartment was very clean, it smelled fresh, there was nice new bed linen and plenty of towels. We also had good replenishment of coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil, as well as dishwashing liquid and tablets for the dish washer.
The housekeeper waited for us at the agreed time, and also came to say farewell spot on time.
The Internet worked well, the neighbourhood is quiet and pleasant. There was a very useful guide about the nearby amenities and we used several Maria's suggestions for dining.
The apartment's location is perfect - if you like Trastevere, you are a minute walk from its centre, while the public transport allows quick access to the key tourist spots of interest.
We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't have any hesitations in recommending this apartment to other travellers.
Loved this apt. The design is fabulous and is equipped with everything you need. It's super clean and in a great location by far the coolest neighborhood in all of Rome. Quick walk or tram ride to all the major sights. I would highly recommend to anyone coming to Rome, way better than staying in a hotel. Thank you for making our visit most enjoyable.
Maria was a great host! We really appreciated her organizing our private transfer at the last minute. The apartment is exactly like the pictures. The bed was really good and we had a good nights rest after a long day touring Rome. We would stay in the apartment again!

I believe that travelling has the power to heal, energize and improve the world, and I’m proud to be a part of this community.
I was born in Rome and raised in Pompeii as both my parents are archaeologists.
I moved back to Rome 15 years ago. My interests are travels, food, photography, foreign languages and my favorite hobby is home design and interior decorating, I enjoy anything creative!
I love Italian, Japanese, Russian and Greek food, I also like to cook.
Travel is definitely my biggest passion and it has taken me and my long time boyfriend Federico to about twenty countries along the five continents.
When I travel, I look for places that are not ultra touristy. I want to experience the restaurants and bars that the locals know and love.
I'm hoping that you seek the same. I can recommend some really cool places and things to see/eat/do if you'd like.
I absolutely love Rome and I am the biggest ambassador for it. I love to welcome people from all over the world to this great city so they can share the love that I have for it as well!
I've had some amazing people from all over the world stay at my place and look forward to hosting you.
See you soon in Rome!
