Tom and Nancy were wonderful hosts. Their basement hideaway was quiet and restful. Having access to a full kitchen was also a plus. If you ask, Tom will take you on a short hike in 100 year old,100 - 200 foot trees in a park that is their back yard. The park even hosts a salmon stream! We had a free evening and enjoyed sharing stories and pictures with this delightful couple.
Thanks for giving us such a good experience with Bell'BNB.
We realy enjoyed staying with Bell's Suite and their back yard,
specialy forest park and creek.
We thanks to Tom and nacy their warm welcome and heartiful
hospitality. Thanks Again AirBNB and Bell's BNB.
Staying with Tom and Nancy was like staying with an Aunt and Uncle but without further family commitments. They were friendly, kind and generous. I would stay here again given the chance. It was a great value and they live near many attractions.
We had a great stay with Tom and Nancy who were extremely friendly, helpful and entertaining. The apartment was perfect for us - very comfortable with plenty of room and a well equipped kitchen as well as a lovely garden to relax in. Breakfast and fresh fruit each morning was great!
Tom was a great host - contacted me ahead of time to make sure we had arrival times and breakfast straightened out. Large comfortable suite, great breakfast, snacks and hospitality. Highly recommended.
My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. To begin with I was very impressed with the beautiful garden which is filled with a great variety of colour and species of plants, as well as the results of Tom's artistic talent with woodwork and sense of humour. It was very relaxing to be able to sit just outside the door and watch the nesting chickadees visiting their birdbox on the pagola and notice the occasional visit from a cheeky squirrel from the forest area at the end of the yard. It was the perfect environment to have an impromptu barbeque with the other half of our family, and for me to practise my painting skills. A visit into the reserve on a sunny day took us into a beautiful natural environment with walking trails along the creek. We enjoyed seeing Tom's collection of memorabilia based on his diving and fireman days and hearing about them when pressed to discuss their relevance. We appreciated their respect for our privacy as well as the opportunities they gave us to get to know each other. Tom and Nancy's warm and heartfelt approach to hosting was much appreciated. They made certain we were as comfortable as we could be: offering lifts if we needed them, taking us to viewing points on a sunny afternoon, inviting us to join them for several meals, and making us feel like part of their family, all the while maintaining our rooms and living spaces to an excellent standard. It was an unexpected advantage to be staying in such a welcoming, supportive environment whilst maintaining a rigorous schedule throughout our holiday to maximise the opportunity to spend time with the rest of our family who live nearby. Tom and Nancy did what they could to make certain our time spent in Vancouver was both valued and memorable. I would happily recommend Bell's to anyone, whether their stay be a few nights or a few weeks.
