The Space

Cozy updated 1-bedroom apartment in a great area located just 15 minutes from Manhattan anyway that you travel.

Home is equipped with a 46" LCD television, private bathroom, small back yard, full-size mattress, closet, dressers for clothing, free washer and dryer (detergent not provided), your own full kitchen and wireless internet.

Bathroom will be setup for your stay with clean towels.

There are many public transportation options, all of which are 15 minutes to New York City, Subway to Path, Bus and Ferry. Parking in Union City is optional, but is not recommended as it is not easy to find parking.

Locally, Union City is rich with culture, there is a lot of Latin Cuisine and shops, as well as a bus to manhattan and the subway just 5 short blocks down on Bergenline Avenue. Walk just 3 short blocks to Boulevard East and you will find a breathtaking view of Manhattan for walks or strolls and as a treat, you can take the ferry to the financial district or 38th st where you can hop on one of their free buses. On Boulevard East, one can also take one of the frequently arriving buses to Manhattan.

If your in town for an event in New York, the buses take you to the Port Authority Bus Terminal which is connected to the 42nd + 8th avenue where you can catch the A, C, E, 1, 2, 3, Q, N, R and 7 lines

  • We had a great stay in Union City. The apartment is exactly shown in the pics. With the bus you are in NYC (Manhattan) in about 15 minutes. It was a wonderful week and we could gladly recommend the apartment.

  • Jason was a great host. Always very responsive to our needs. The apartment was beautiful, comfortable and clean. At 15 minutes from Times Square, but be sure to take the right bus especially on the way back from the Port Authority bus terminal. the ticket of the bus is not included in the metro card. choose this apartment and you will definitely be happy. One day we will return

  • Let me begin by saying how amazing Jason was. He was extremely responsive , alert, and always ready to help me out and he wasn't even in town he was in India! Yes, India not Indiana! It's a charming place that's just a few minutes from the heart of Manhattan. Place is as pretty as advertised online. Parking was a pain but that was expected. Once I parked my car I didn't move it again as I took public transportation the rest of the time. Everything you could want is within walking distance. Great place to stay. Great host. Great everything. Loved my experience. And I read a few reviews about the noise, I didnt hear a peep. It was super quiet almost too quiet lol. Thanks Jason!

  • My stay here with my husband was great! The place was exactly as described and Jason was an excellent host who is very responsive via email and reached out to me to make sure my check in and check out process went smoothly. The neighbourhood is residential but there are some amenities (restaurant, liquor store, grocery store) nearby. The only downside for us was the noise in the unit: the apt is the main level of a house and on the weekdays, the family living upstairs started their day at 7AM and it was tough to stay asleep after that. We had ear plugs but the noise was still a bit much early in the mornings.

    Response from Jason:

Hi Melissa, I am very sorry about the noise in the morning it should be noted that this is an older house as most are in the greater New York City area and there is a family that lives up stairs that wakes up rather early so at times one will hear the door chime and the floor creaking upstairs. I will note this in my advertisement, thank you for staying with us and you are always welcome back. :)

  • We really loved Jason's place, it was modern, spacious and very comfortable. He was very informative and the apartment was very prepared. Towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner... Parking was not too good but the can ride was cheap and the buses were 1/2 block away. We would stay here again :)
