Wow! I have only absolute appreciation and admiration of Riad Yamina and its staff. From the initial contact which was easy and responsive everything and everyone went above and beyond.
On arrival Yamina organised a car from the airport for us and we were met at 1am by Moha who throughout was the perfect host, so kind and nothing was too much trouble. He and Yamina even helped us hire a car for our road trip, at a much cheaper price than online.
The riad is stunning and comfortable, I love its Moroccan style and you can tell a lot of love and care has gone into it. We were lucky enough to meet Yamina and have an incredible meal cooked by her. You can certainly tell she used to run her own restaurants in London. It was the best meal we had in Morocco.
The riad is quiet, a sanctuary to return to, the pool is perfect to cool down in and the roof terrace is great to catch some sun.
We stayed in the Safia suite and as we had the riad to ourselves (what a luxury!) it was quiet but perhaps we might choose one on an upper level if other guests were there.
To top it off, when we returned from our road trip for our last night, we were unwell and didn't want the dinner we had organised before we left. Moha and the ladies kindly stopped the preparation and said we could have it for lunch the next day instead which was perfect as we had our appetite back and enjoyed the meal immensely.
I honestly don't know why anyone would stay anywhere else, I will be telling everyone and anyone to stay here when they visit Marrakesh and I hope we will be able to return too.
Thank you so much Yamina, Moha and the ladies, we loved every minute!
My wife, sister in law and I booked with Yamina for 10 days.
From the moment Moha received us at the entrance of the souk we knew we would be under great care. And so it was.
We met Nyima, who's got the most beautiful smile, the next morning with mint tea, fresh orange juice beautiful, Moroccan breads and jams that she had made for breakfast. Wow.
We were also privileged to have Yamina there. She welcomed us like family and we felt so at home, it was sad to leave. We highly recommend Riad Yamina, not only for the amazing service, beautiful comfortable suites and excellent location within the Medina, but especially for the sanctuary provided each day. Another stand out was the delicious home cooked food, which eclipsed anything we found anywhere! Thank you Yamina, Sam, Moha and Nyima, we will definitely return.
Our stay at Yamina's was wonderful. Beautiful room, just as described, with really lovely lighting too. Yamina and all the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts on the terrace were really nice and dinner at the riad was delicious. The riad is very relaxing and peaceful but still very close to the main square. We would definitely recommend Yamina's.
