Views of the Bay Bridge make it impossible to mistake where you've come. Split-level Loft offers private bedroom and private full bathroom, kitchen, dining area and work station with iconic San Francisco views. Exposed cement walls and piping add a Modern SF feel.
I moved to SOMA to start my business because the neighborhood brings a lot of energy and opportunity. Great mix of start-up professionals and visitors from all over the world.. the conversations you hear in line at coffee shops and food trucks are inspiring to say the least; valuations, IPO's, mergers, new technologies, new app solutions... there is no other place like it on earth.
Your room is fully furnished with a folding coach, reinforced with a heavy feather mattress cover, standing desk, fireman's pole connecting downstairs (there are stairs too, but what's fun in that?). Help yourself to amenities and fresh (folded) towels in the bathroom. I reside upstairs where I'm pretty self contained giving you lots of privacy.
I love to socialize with guests, however am often committed when wonderful people stay with me. I'm always available to send you in the right direction with personal recommendations after a glass of wine... or two.

I respect closed doors, but will otherwise say hi.
The apartment was located in a central, convenient area in Soma; it was clean and well-kept. It was close to the Montgomery Street Muni Stop and great restaurants and bars. The room itself was pretty private though the apartment is adjacent to the highway, so traffic noise is prevalent (I am a deep sleeper and was not effected by the noise). Also, as the description mentions the room is a loft, so noise from the open living space and kitchen can be heard in the room; the other occupants were very considerate and quiet so it was not an issue. Andres' friend Jeff, who was watching the apartment, was very considerate and communicative.
Andres and Jeff were wonderful hosts. They made me feel welcome the moment I arrived, even though I got in quite late. Their apartment is in a wonderful neighborhood, close to BART, the Financial District, the Convention Center, and Market Street. The loft is tidy, spacious, and has a nice desk and workspace. Overall, just a great place in a great location with great people. I will stay here if I'm back in the area, and recommend Jeff and Andres highly.
Listing was described as accurate, Andres was very warm and hospitable. They gave me great recommendations and made me feel at home.
Great experience! Perfect location in SoMa, super fun and friendly host, great accommodation. Wish I could've stayed longer... Definitely recommended!
Great stay! The place looks exactly as described. Andrés was very helpful and friendly. I recommend this place!

Spring in Manhattan, Summer in Barcelona, Fall in San Francisco and Winter in Buenos Aires - you'll always know where to find me...
I operate a Tour and Hospitality Company called Vin Ambassador. My team of Sommeliers (socially savvy wine professionals) and I offer privately guided experiences deep within the dusty cellars of Northern California and also know how to spot the best table and menu for a casual day of rest and relaxation.
My "dance card" is somewhat daunting, so I'm often a ghost; running out for a day in Wine Country with clients, stepping out for a brief meeting around the corner, squeezing in a few hours of GMAT study and always wrapping something up on the computer. I find myself a bit of a caretaker to the Loft but am ever grateful to stop, breath and raise a glass with guests.
Generally maintain a healthy lifestyle; former Marine, do a bit of yoga, running, Jiu-Jitsu and like to got out dancing - big believer of "everything in moderation, including moderation". Committed to gratitude and dabbling in Buddhism. I'm also Sommelier so there is nearly always a bottle of something open.
I enjoy an intimate social life spending a couple nights a week; solving world problems over wine, cooking and the occasional white board session. Beyond that I tend to be in Napa a couple nights a week, travel domestically a few times a year with at least one big trip abroad. I surround myself with positive/supportive people, looking for guests who do the same.
