This was one of our favorite houses. Jenny was very helpful and welcoming, and with Costa Rica having no addresses it was relieving to have Jenny take us to the house rather than finding it ourselves. Its very close to places to eat and the beach, and you can spend hours in the evenings watching the howler monkeys. The house is clean and spacious, perfect for a family or a group of friends. The doors and windows are a little tricky, but they keep the house very secure. There are a few dogs that come and visit from the neighboring properties, but they are well behaved and usually just lie on the porch. I highly recommend eating at Coyote Cafe, Jenny makes awesome drinks and customizable pizza from scratch--very yummy! All in all was a great couple of nights at the jungle house :)

If you want to do Cabo Blanco and check out the more secluded beaches around here this is a perfect stay! After that there isn't really much to do in the area, and it did feel like it would be boring to stay longer than 2 days. The house itself is very cute and you get to see a lot of wildlife! We saw Capuchin monkeys, scorpions, frogs, and birds! We wanted to use the kitchen but the pans seemed unusable unfortunately.

This place was perfect! Monkeys making noise and entertainment in the morning. Screens on the windows so you can stay cool even though it was 80 degrees F out. Basic kitchen items to make food and coffee. Beach and pool literally across the street. Jenny at the cafe was great and accommodating. It is a little drive to Montezuma but all great just to have absolute rest and relaxation in Cabuya. Cleanliness was perfect too!

Laura's place is set at the dege of Cabuya exactly as described, quiet with a little local traffic going slowly. Laura was not there but she has a wonderful agent Jenny, who takes care of everything and is welcoming and delightful company. She also runs and cooks at her Cafe Coyote within a short walk, a treat not to be missed. She is full of infomation about the area. We had a great time and would only make small suggestions like a few hooks for our mosquito net in the upstairs bedroom [ we always travel with one though it was not a big problem] and maybe some glasses instead of the metal drinking vessels, although Jenny lent us some. Justacross the road was the Howler Monkey hotel, a quiet low key place right on the shore with a swimming pool which we were offered use of.We loved the jungle garden, the howler monkeys, the birds, the terrace space, the iguanas and the washing machine was really good too and there was lots of drying line!We would go there again, loved falling asleep to the sound of the ocean and waking to the calls of the monkeys. Thank you Laura you are very well organised and give clear accurate instructions and infomation, good luck for the future.

Hi everybody! I am Laura, I am Italian and since 1993 I live in Costa Rica. Have a daughter who was born in 1996. During 9 years I run the weekly organic farmers' market in Escazu, San Jose. In the same town I also owned a little organic Cafe called Buena Tierra.
Since June 2017 I moved to another beach location, Tamarindo, where I live with my husband Edoardo.
Edoardo and I own this property in Cabuya de Cobano, really close to Cabo Blanco Absolute Reserve. It used to be our home during the first 5 years we spent in this Country and we love it deeply.
Infrastructures at that time weren't as good as now, so that we moved to the metropolitan area where we had better job opporttunities and better standard education for our daughter.
We are still in love with the unique experience of living in Cabuya where resident expats and locals share and exchange traditions and knowledge in full contact with nature.
As I mentioned I live far away from Cabuya, so that Jenny is taking care of my place.
She is the person who will welcome you and provide you with all the info you need.
I wish all the people who will rent my house a wonderful holiday in the jungle!!!
