The house is definitely secluded and in a great place to see howler monkeys and walk to the beach. During the day you can walk to the cool island (but get back before the tide comes back in). Montezuma is a cool little town that's definitely worth the short drive. Lots of great r…

We had a wonderful time at Laura’s place. The beach is just down the road and the outside patio with a hammock is great to sit on in the evenings. Jenny the owner of Cafe Coyote is a great contact and was very helpful during our stay. If using a gps putting in the cafe coyote is …

If you want to spend time in a quaint, rustic and quiet place away from tourists this is the place to be. Besides hiking the preserve 2 km away (which was very nice) there's little to do here. That was fine with us because we had a car and visited the beaches of Montezuma and San…

Response from Laura:
Hi Karen. Thank you for your comment, I am really sorry if it didn't work out as you expected and for sure I will follow your recommendations in order to make my place a better place. Nevertheless I would have appreciated if you'd let me know while vacationing there, maybe we could have made you feel more comfortable. I also would like to underline the following. All the pictures I posted are faithful, it says if it's the beach in Cabuya or the one in Cabo Blanco. The beach of Montezuma does not appear in any of my picts. The house is 80mts far from the beach. No picture is showing the house surrounded by sand. "Picnic table" outside is of fine pochote wood. Beds are made of fine timber and all are provided with orthopedic mattresses (extra firm the king size in the main bedroom and firm the other 2). Apart from the table outside there are 2 rocking chairs, a little table and 2 hammocks. Inside a breakfast table with stools.

Laura's home was beautiful, the area was incredible, so quiet, just a few steps from the beach, monkeys everywhere, easy to get to and meet the caretaker Jenny, and such a great value. I would love to stay here again!

This was one of our favorite houses. Jenny was very helpful and welcoming, and with Costa Rica having no addresses it was relieving to have Jenny take us to the house rather than finding it ourselves. Its very close to places to eat and the beach, and you can spend hours in the e…

If you want to do Cabo Blanco and check out the more secluded beaches around here this is a perfect stay! After that there isn't really much to do in the area, and it did feel like it would be boring to stay longer than 2 days. The house itself is very cute and you get to see a l…
