High spee internet with WIFI is available. In the bedroom, there are 2 x 90cm beds. There is a bathroom with separate toilets. Towels and linen are provided. As the apartment is located in the heart of town, you will find restaurants and shops all around the apartment in any direction. For your groceries, there is a Monoprix supermarket 2 minutes walk away, on the Cours Mirabeau. In addition, there is a bakery in the building next door and the best burcher/caterer in town on the corner of the street.
If you come by car, there are two paying car parks 5 & 10 minutes away from the apartment (15 euros/day). The apartment is located in the pedestrian area of town, and a badge is needed to access it with a car. Otherwise, both the bus station and the train station are located 10 minutes walk away.
We wish you a nice stay in Aix-en-Provence!
Fantastic flat RIGHT in the middle of the old town-perfect location that let you pop in and out to grab things/drop things off as needed without any hassle. Ariane and her husband were extremely kind, showing us the apartment and explaining everything. The apartment itself was clean and tidy and worked great for the 3 nights we stayed. Again this is a perfect location!
Very cute 3rd floor apt, with all the amenities. In the heart of aix within a hop to cours Mirabeau and located a historic neighborhood.
Bien accueilli. Appartement confortable, bien équipé et bien entretenu et aussi bien situé.
My friend and I stay at Ariane apartment for 3 nights. The apartment overall is fine, close to all kinds of shops, cafe and bus station. There are also many useful information provided by Ariane for our stay too.
Just the apartment is located on 3rd floor without lift, so backpack like us is fine but suitcase may be quite a climb~
Very near to the heart of town and famous Paul bakery here! We enjoyed the days in AIX with Ariane's appartment.
What a wonderful holiday. Aix was everything we expected, Ariane's apartment was fabulous - well sited and well equipped. The boulangerie downstairs was a real bonus - we kept running up and down the 4 flights of stairs to buy fresh baguettes for every meal. After 2 weeks exploring Aix, we feel we know it as well as the locals and are looking forward to returning to Aix. For Australians visiting Aix, try Adrienne's "Coffee to Go" just up the road from the cathedral for great flat whites served in a real coffee cup. We used up our loyalty card meeting family every day for a coffee at 11:00 AM. The markets were a real joy - we cooked fresh vegetables every day. The asparagus was delightful, and as for the strawberries and cherries!!!! The monoprix just around the corner was very convenient for grocery shopping, and the "8 to huit" shop in Rue des Cordeliers has a great wine selection at a competitive price. We also found a delicious patisserie in Rue des Cordeliers, opposite a dress shop where my wife went crazy buying really nice outfits. The apartment is very convenient to the main bus station and the tourist bureau - don't forget to buy your Aix Card for 2 euros at the Tourist Bureau to get a 50% discount on the Aix Historical walk (a really great investment of your time to learn about Aix). Take a bus trip to Marseille and visit Chateau d'If and the Callanques. If looking for a restaurant for lunch in Marseille, avoid the tourist traps and look for where the locals eat - we found a great Turkish restaurant in the back streets. If you plan to climb Mount Victoire, the information on some web sites is incorrect. Once you cross the dam wall, the path starts immediately on your left. Follow the blue paint marks (they are sometimes hard to see). In summary, we had a great holiday in Aix and wish everyone who goes to Aix and stays at Ariane's has as great a time as we had.
Appartement idéalement placé dans l'hypercentre d'Aix. Vous aurez tout à proximité, les lieux remarquables mais aussi les parkings souterrains, ce qui est très important. L'appartement est impeccable. Rapport qualité/prix imbattable !
We had a wonderful few days in Ariane’s apartment, it was really comfortable. Ariane and her husband, Michael met us at the apartment and made us feel really welcome.
The apartment is close to the main square, so we were only a few minutes from shops, restaurants etc.
We can highly recommend the apartment.
