Hi! Welcome to Dublin!
Do you want to experience the ‘real’ Dublin city? You’ve found the right place!
My apartment is in a red brick building, built 150 years ago in the historic Georgian style, with a modern interior.
Your double room has crisp white linens, and towels are included. It is a fresh and cosy room with all the things you could need to feel you’ve found home away from home.
The apartment includes:
* Central heating
* Hot shower
* Kitchen with dining table, kettle, cooker, microwave, washing machine
* Wi-fi throughout the house - 120mb
* Breakfast, coffee, teas - self-service :)
And in the warmer weather, there’s a large garden to sit in the sunshine!
This is a 2 bedroom apartment. Guests have the use of their own double room, share the bathroom with me, and have full use of the kitchen, with seating area.
I work full-time and I sometimes go out of town on the weekends. When we are in the apartment together I'll be happy to have a chat, share tips about Dublin and Ireland, or simply let you do your own thing - it is your trip after all!
The apartment is in the perfect location to enjoy the city centre, and is located right beside the desirable villages of Ranelagh and Donnybrook, where you’ll find plenty of shops, cafes, pubs, and restaurants!
There are direct links to:
The airport: 30mins with the ‘Aircoach’, runs every 20mins
The city centre (3km): 10mins by bus, runs every 8mins
Please note that my apartment is not a sterile hotel - it is lived in, it is a home, so although I do my best to keep it clean at all times, it has the normal day-to-day wear and tear that a home would have :)
Ellen was a great host, very friendly and welcoming. Room was in a great location... Would definitely recommend!!
The reservation was canceled 35 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
My first bnb experience and thanks to Ellen probably not my last.
We haven't actually met because she was away for the week of my stay, but we talked over the phone and through the website, and she's been really nice and flexible. I only booked 1 day before I was to due to arrive and she got back to me and confirmed the booking within hours! Totally saved my life!
When I arrived everything was clean and tidy. The bed's comfortable and the room is a good size. There's a few hooks on the wall and a couple of shelving units where you can keep your stuff. The kitchen's nice and bright with a lovely view. Clean bathroom. I've never actually used it, but there's a working fireplace in the living room. And Ellen's mum is absolutely lovely :)
All in all it's a warm and cozy little home equipped with everything you might need in a perfect location with plenty of shops and buses around.
Ellen was a really friendly and nice hostess. Me and my wife stay at her place for almost 2 weeks while we were looking for a house to stay in Dublin. She helped and explain us how things works around here. 5*****
Great location, Ellen is a very friendly host who is very helpful and accommodating. Bed is very comfortable and there are many great bars and restaurants close to the house. Stayed with her for 3 weeks and would highly recommend!!
We stayed for three days in Ellen's Victorian house. It is located in one of the the nicest area's in Dublin. Ellen is a good host and she enjoys a conversation as well. If you are looking for a good place, close to the centre, this is a good option. About 15 min walk to centre. The room was great and the breakfast was solid Irish, eggs, toast, cheese and Jam. We will definitely book this bnb again.
Ellen was an amazing host. Her place is cozy and full of laughter. It is in a great location just outside the main Dublin centre. She is friendly and a pleasure to hang out and chat with. Ellen was also kind enough to share her delicious meals with me as well. All in all it was a grand time!!
Ellen is a great host, very kind and gentle. The house is small but good enough for two persons to stay. I felt like home and i really recommend Ellen!
My stay with Ellen was great! She's a very relaxed person, open and friendly! Happy to give advice and tips! The house is clean and bed and bedroom were comfortable!. The location to me was great; i loved the old vicorian-style house and it's situated in a nice part of town with nice shops and restaurants around the corner! It's easily accessable with public transport, but for me the bike she let me use was a great means of transport! It's really only 10mins cycling to the centre of town (on the left side of the road, wich was a bit of a challange ;-))
I'd really recommend to stay!
Nice and tranquil place, comfortable room, I slept like a log. Ellen is a nice host, I felt like at home. Thanks Ellen.
