The Space

Hip one bedroom artist loft/cottage in Historic downtown Snohomish WA, antique capitol of the North West. A quiet, cozy hideaway for adventure, fun, or just plain old relaxation, this home is located on a quiet street in a typical Northwest neighborhood. Within walking distance of antique stores, restaurants, cafes, shopping, and, if you dig the blues, there's stomping music and more.
Our home is two stories with an open floor plan down stairs complete with a full refrigerator, micro wave, toaster oven, George Forman Grill, blender, skillet burners and Wi Fi. Attached is a cozy, private, black box movie theater boasting a 120 inch screen, projector, surround sound and Blue Ray Playstation with Netflix. French doors lead out to a private 20 x16 enclosed patio with fire pit and great views of the hot air balloons, sky divers and… What's that noise? Migrating snow geese make a temporary home in the valley every fall and fly over the house twice a day,
A spiral stair case leads you upstairs to a quaint loft bedroom with a full bath and large Jacuzzi tub. A floor to ceiling glass window provides a great view of the valley and small planes gliding in for a landing at Harvey Field. You can wave to the pilots! Oh, and then there's Jack, a handsome bald eagle who occasionally shows up to pay a visit. Not to mention a family of dear who every so often stop by the next door neighbor’s garden to dine on her flowers.
The historic town of Snohomish offers great opportunities for the adventure minded with air plane and helicopter rides including lessons, skydiving , hot air ballooning and if your not big on heights there's cycling and more. Snohomish is also conveniently located less then one hour from Steven’s Pass ski resort and white water rafting. Within a ten minute drive there are numerous parks with wooded hiking trails as well as the Centennial trail, a paved walking/jogging and cycling path that runs though the picturesque Snohomish valley for over 17 miles. We are located minutes away from beautiful beaches, sail surfing, kayaking, and water front summer concerts. Just up the road (10-30 miles) are ferries to the surrounding islands and the Kitsap Peninsula as well as to the San Juan Islands. And if under water adventure is your thing there is a Scuba Park with sunken ships only 20 minutes away.
Our Home is 30 miles from Seattle by car and if you don't feel like driving you can take the train on week days from Everett which is only ten minutes away. We are also located only two hours from Vancouver, Canada. So don't forget your passport! If you dig planes Everett, WA is the home of Boeing which houses a flight museum, restoration museum, history of fight museum, and tours of the factory daily. Snohomish is also ten minutes from Monroe, WA and the Evergreen State Fair grounds with museums and NASCAR Racing every Saturday night in the summer as well as the Evergreen State Fair in August. And who doesn't love a deep fried Twinkie?
Our home is the perfect getaway no matter how you want to spend your time.
