Chiara and Alessandro were so accommodating from the moment we sent an enquiry to book. "Check-in" was smooth and very well set up. The apartment is as expected from the photos - but one cannot truly appreciate how spacious and well located it is until you reach there. The neighbourhood has plenty of options for food shopping and eating out and the Foro Romano is your back garden! The kitchen is fully equipped and every need has been catered for - even the bathroom is stocked with shower gel and shampoo. We even asked if we could check out late in the evening for our night flight, and they were very accommodating to us. We stayed with my parents-in-law and our 2 year old son and the apartment catered to everyone's needs! An absolutely fantastic place to stay with great hosts.

We had a wonderful stay at I Serpenti B&B. The location was perfect. This was our first trip to Rome and we werent familiar with the different neighborhoods but we happened to pick the right one. We were right in the middle of a ton of restaurants and bars plus very close to many of the historic sights. We could have walked anywhere in the city and in fact did take a nice long stroll home from the Vatican. The apartment is very comfortable and had plenty of space for two couples, each with our own bathroom. Everything is clean and well kept. There is no air conditioning which was a concern since the temperatures were higher than usual during our June trip. Fortunately, the building stayed cool as long as we kept the windows shut and there were fans to provide a little air flow. It was surprisingly comfortable. We did often have problems with the hot water and while someone was sent over immediately when it had gone out completely, we still struggled with it and never really had a steady supply. The owner did suggest turning on the kitchen faucet first to get the hot water flowing before starting the shower. We were very happy to have chosen this apartment over a hotel. It made our stay much more comfortable and really contributed to a wonderful trip. We hope to be back!

This is a spacious welcome place. Located in a vibrant and central part of Rome. The neighborhood is a major plus. It has charm and most everything you'd need. The host is helpful and welcoming. There are bars across the street so there can be some noise as people leave for the night. You might bring earplugs if you think this would be a problem for you.

Location: We enjoyed our first visit to Rome, the Serpenti house located in a very convenient location. If it is your first visit to Rome and needs to check out the main attraction like the Colosseum and the Forum, this is the perfect spot. Around the corner down the street (Monti area) filled with many restaurants options. Great Indian restaurants we found nearby, should you craved ethics cuisine like we did. Only 5min walk to the metro Cavour stop, very convenient. The house: The house was large and comfortable for 4 people. We were glad this unit located on the second floor since we had to carry all of our luggage. It is a bit tricky wheeling luggage through Rome on the cobblestones street, but that's part of the experience. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms were the perfect settings for a group of us. There's no washer and dryer available in the unit or the building. However, right across the street you can drop off your laundry for wash/dry/fold server for approximately 10 euros. Dropped off in the morning and ready by the end of the day. Couple of a down side we ran into when we arrived was the construction. We didn't realize until we got there that there's construction on the street right outside the building. As well as the renovation that happens in the upstairs unit. The noise started around 8am until late afternoon. By the time we left, it looks like they're making a lot of progress on the street construction. So that should be wrapped up soon, I hope for the next visitors. Not sure what the situation is for the upstairs renovation, so be sure to ask. However, you probably want to be out and about early to explore the city. So the noise might not be much of the issues. At night, it gets pretty quiet, so no problem there. One night we ran into the water heater problem; we had to take an iced-cold water for a day. We immediately contacted the owner, and she promptly answer and took note of the situation. She came out the next day to fix the problem. I believe she had scheduled to replace the water heater system, hopefully that's all good to go. Despite couple of hiccups, we enjoyed our stays at the Serpenti house.

We very much enjoyed our stay at I Serpenti. The house was spacious and very comfortable, and the stocked refrigerator (milk, coffee, juice, jam, pastries) a terrific bonus. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The only negative we experienced was noise from the club across the street. As we visited Rome in the summer, it was very warm and we slept with the windows open. (Fans were provided, but we found it too hot and stuffy with the windows closed.) The club, located across the street and one floor below I Serpenti, attracted a rather large crowd that loitered in the street right below the bedroom windows. Smoke and noise drifted in throughout the night, and kept us from sleeping as well as we would have liked. Of course, this is not the fault of the hosts, just something future guest should be aware of before booking. The neighborhood is great and centrally located (steps from the Coliseum and Roman Forum.) I would definitely book again in the fall or winter when I could sleep with the windows closed, but might look elsewhere if I return to Rome in the summer.

I Serpenti House is a family-run houses for turist. We have three apartments for rent in Rome, in three very strategic areas to visit the city, perfect to spend a short weekend or for longer periods.

I Serpenti House Marmorata Centro is a private apartment, with two rooms, bathroom and kitchen furnished with refinement and equipped with every comfort: a double bedroom, a beautiful living room with door and large sofa bed that can serve as a second bedroom, a bathroom with shower and a kitchen with washing machine and appliances . The apartment is on the fourth floor with elevator, public garden and air conditioner. The apartment is located in the historic district of Testaccio , a few steps from the center, 10 minutes walk from the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. The nearest tube station Piramide and Ostiense Train Station are 5 minutes away on foot.

I Serpenti House San Poalo is a modern comfortable and quiet apartment for rent. Spacious and bright, the house has two private rooms with double beds, large windows, TV and wardrobe. The living room is fully equipped with kitchen, dishwasher, oven, refrigerator and everything needed for at least four people. The bathroom with tub / shower is very large and unique modern style. The area of San Paolo is a place of great vitality, there are many new restaurants, shops and bars, that are mixed with popular hidden markets and small restaurants. The location is strategic for seeing the sights, because the apartment is just a few subway stops from the center and well connected to the main train stations and airports by public transport. The main nearest attraction is the Basilica di San Paolo, one of the four papal basilicas. A short distance away there is also the Infant Jesus Hospital and the University of Roma Tre.
Just a few minutes even Eataly, the great taste supermarket, gourmet restaurants and ice cream stores in the area.
