Superking or Twin, Central Stroud

House - Private room · Lansdown, Stroud, GL5 1BG, United Kingdom

A lovely peaceful attic room in central Stroud with very flexible accommodation for up to 2 adults and 2 children. The house is a family home and you will be assured a warm welcome.

The Space

Lovely, large peaceful attic room with either twin beds or a huge superking. If there are two of you, please let Natasha know which you'd like and the bed(s) will be converted accordingly.

The room also contains a comfortable day bed to lounge on, a table and two chairs, lots of cupboard space (hanging and shelves), tea/coffee making facilities, vanity mirror, hairdryer, hot water bottles and towels. Bedside tables with books to swap, and a digital alarm clock should you have forgotten your own. Ask if you'd like to borrow an iron/board or trouser press. Lovely views over the park if you are tall!

For those who are with children, we can organise a special price depending on their ages; the day bed can be made up into a bed, and there is a further pull out single bed underneath. There is also a travel cot available. We can accommodate older children in other rooms if necessary (a sofa bed room on the ground floor and another single bedroom).

The bathroom is one floor below, with a bath, electric shower, loo and sink. There are toiletries in the cupboard under the sink for you to use if needed. There's another loo next door to the bathroom too. This space is shared with our lodger.

A breakfast of cereal, toast and fruit juice is included in the price (you can help yourself, I'll show you where things are). You are welcome to use the large kitchen for cooking. .

We have WIFI which you are welcome to use.

The house is a large family and shared 'end of terrace Victorian' home. We have 3 cats and a dog, several children and lodgers too.

Please do note that the house has a lot of stairs and the room is in the attic at the top.

Parking is on street, you'll need a visitors permit from Natasha, except on Sundays/evenings, included in the price.

Check In
  • A warm welcome, a comfortable room and a very central location.
    An ideal place to stay

    March 2014
  • We had a great stay at Natasha's. Everything was as she had described it on her page and very comfortable. She was welcoming on our arrival and kind enough to supply us with all we needed to make ourselves breakfast in the morning.

  • Natasha was very friendly and helpful, we stayed next door in the flat and it was very comfortable and contained everything we could have needed with lots of nice finishing touches, really good location for walking into town.

  • Enjoyed staying with Nastasha and biys. Very hospitable and very convienant location

  • Natasha was easy to communicate with always responding promptly to emails & texts. Whilst the house is a very busy one with 3 children, 3 cats, a dog & a couple of lodgers, there was a definite peacefulness to the room at the top of the house. It was great to be able to have a visitor permit for parking on the road & the town is an easy stroll away. We enjoyed our stay.

  • Natasha was a great host and made me and my friend feel very welcome. The house is beautiful and a great size too. It is very close to the city centre and would really recommend this place to anyone who needs somewhere to stay in Stroud. Thank you Natasha.

  • Natasha's house is in the very centre of Stroud, just a few minute's walk from the train station, buses and all the shops and restaurants, thus making it an excellent place to stay if you don't have your own transport. We did have a car though and toured all over the area visiting the wonderful Cotswold countryside, the River Severn and the surrounding villages, all of which are easily
    from Stroud.
Natasha's house is a great family home, full of people, but you'd never know it as it is very calm and quiet. We had a lovely, spacious room at the top of the house and had use of the kitchen which was a boon.
Natasha herself is a warm and generous host and made us feel extremely welcome. We will definately stay there again when visiting Stroud.

Ther room in the attic is clean and comfortable (but high).
The large kitchen with a socker game is an extra.

    We had a lovely stay!

I'm mostly a mama at the moment, to my three boys, though taking time to study again too. I've had a patchwork career and now my 'business' is as landlady and hosting folk to stay. I really enjoy welcoming people into my home. I'm an avid reader and doing/making crafty things. Seasonal decorations make me feel truly at home. I'm into geneology and have painted two enormous family trees, proudly displayed in the house. My boys and I purposefully look to have some fun everyday.
