the kids and i loved having such a comfortable, clean and friendly cottage to come back to every night.
thanks for your motherly support and input with my sons arm in the middle of the night (sorry for waking you).
thanks for sharing your love of where you live with my family and i and i hope you have a great time in September visiting your daughter.
Marguerite and Michael are wonderful hosts. Even given the terrible weather and the storm damage to both the cottage and the Jones' own house they allowed us to visit their cottage and spend some time in Karuah. The cottage is as beautiful as the pictures show and EH is a great puppy who got along with our dog without incident.
The cottage itself is well appointed and without the conditions in which we were visiting we would probably enjoyed our stay even more. Karuah is a wonderful little town, with easy going residents and close proximity to most things you need.
Highly recommended. Book now before Marguerite realises they could charge a whole lot more for this little piece of bush paradise.
Ironbark cottage is a very beautiful cottage, with amazing view, nice and quiet area and pretty furniture. Michael is super friendly, we enjoyed his company and loved visiting his amazing shed. Eh -the dog- is adorable!!!we couldn't stop playing with her. Overall, we had lovely day there and we will chose Ironbark for our vacation again.
The reservation was canceled 3 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Thanks Marguerite for the lovely stay, we really needed a quiet time out of the big city!
Marguerite and her husband are the perfect hosts :)
The Cottage is lovely, very big with all the comforts you may need.
Marguerite welcomed us with some home baked brownies (yummy) a small birthday treat (Thank you!!!), fresh eggs and everything you need for breakfast. Always available to give suggestions on restaurants and things to see and do or have a chat, but never invasive.
Neighbourhood is super quiet, you can hear only birds!
We had a very nice stay at the ironbark cottage in Karuah. Marguerite and Michael were so friendly and helped us out with everything. We spent some time together with them and it was just lovely.
The cottage was very nice as well. It was very clean and comfortable. We liked everything about the cottage, the bedrooms, the bathroom and the living room. We would definitly recommend everyone to spend some time at the cottage in Karuah and we all wish Michael and Marguerite the best for the future. Thanks for the enjoyable stay!
We had a very enjoyable stay at Ironbark Cottage. Marguerite and Michael were wonderful hosts, made us very welcome and gave us a lot of information related to our interests. Ellie (the dog) is so friendly and kept us company. The cottage is extremely cozy, very spacious and clean. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials, and Marguerite had even baked us some delicious cake. The location is perfect, so peaceful, yet within a reasonable distance to Port Stephens. We would definitely recommend to anyone.
About the Host, Marguerite
