Thanks Marguerite for the lovely stay, we really needed a quiet time out of the big city!
Marguerite and her husband are the perfect hosts :)
The Cottage is lovely, very big with all the comforts you may need.
Marguerite welcomed us with some home baked brownies (yummy) a small birthday treat (Thank you!!!), fresh eggs and everything you need for breakfast. Always available to give suggestions on restaurants and things to see and do or have a chat, but never invasive.
Neighbourhood is super quiet, you can hear only birds!
We had a very nice stay at the ironbark cottage in Karuah. Marguerite and Michael were so friendly and helped us out with everything. We spent some time together with them and it was just lovely.
The cottage was very nice as well. It was very clean and comfortable. We liked everything about the cottage, the bedrooms, the bathroom and the living room. We would definitly recommend everyone to spend some time at the cottage in Karuah and we all wish Michael and Marguerite the best for the future. Thanks for the enjoyable stay!
We had a very enjoyable stay at Ironbark Cottage. Marguerite and Michael were wonderful hosts, made us very welcome and gave us a lot of information related to our interests. Ellie (the dog) is so friendly and kept us company. The cottage is extremely cozy, very spacious and clean. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials, and Marguerite had even baked us some delicious cake. The location is perfect, so peaceful, yet within a reasonable distance to Port Stephens. We would definitely recommend to anyone.
We had the pleasure of staying at Marguerite's lovely cottage for two days. It was nice and clean, with good provisions , and ample space for relaxation, both inside and out. Marguerite and Micheal were gracious and accommodating and made us welcome and comfortable. Ellie, the dog, kept us company whenever we are outside. The cottage is nicely situated in a wooded area, within reasonable distance to Anna Bay and Nelson Bay. The place is well provisioned for rainy days too. Highly recommended for those who would want to get away for a relaxing holiday.
The cottage was clean, comfortable and quiet. It was well equipped with everything we needed - tea, coffee and milk. Marguerite and Michael were very friendly and made sure we were comfortable with our stay.
We highly recommend the cottage to anyone who is looking for a peaceful place to stay.
