We stayed at Marguerite and Michael's cottage for just one night, as we were travelling home and it made a perfect stop. We will definitely stay again, for longer too, as the cottage is spacious and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Very comfortable bed, massive bathroom, and the lounge/kitchen area is very welcoming and a great space. The fridge was well stocked, and the brownies only lasted a few seconds. Our two Kelpies loved the place too, and were happy to meet and play with EH (the labrador/kelpie on site). Only a short walk to the golf course, and taking the dogs for a walk was very pleasant in a rural setting. Just a short drive into Karuah - perfect!

This is a truly wonderful and peaceful place to stay. The house and the garden are beautiful and the hosts were amazing and so attentive. We really appreciated all the lovely supplies in the fridge and the delicious freshly baked brownies that awaited us on arrival. We even got some cold beers out of the hosts' own fridge. How great is that! It is such a quiet place & and at night we sat up, watched the stars and listened to a chorus of frogs - quite magical. There are also chickens and a lovely dog. The hosts also gave us great advice on what to see in the local area and on our onward drive. Perfect! Also, it was perfect for me as a wheelchair user, all flat with a huge bathroom and shower with comfy shower chair. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

Absolutely amazing couple so welcoming, even when we arrived late. Allowed our dog to stay with us as well which just added to our great experience. This was our first air BnB and was fantastic. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night. Super clean, spacious, quiet and even a homemade cake on arrival, yum. Breakfast was also provided, which was unexpected. Thoroughly recommend. Hope to stay again. Mary and Dave

Great cottage, lovely hosts. Clean warm and cozy cottage with everything you need and more! Fresh eggs, milk, bread and butter for breakfast. Kids enjoyed the outdoors, chasing chickens and playing with Ellie (friendly Labrador). Wish we could stay longer!

Ironbark Cottage is very well appointed, in a secluded but central location. Marguerite is an excellent host, and was happy to help us with anything we needed. Our 7 night stay met all my expectations and then some. I would definitely stay there again.

The cottage is perfect for a couple or family of four who need a comfortable base from which to explore the beaches of Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest or the Hunter Valley. set back from a quiet road this little home is really quiet at night. The cottage is a fully equipped home with a kitchen full of appliances and everything anyone would need. There is air conditioning and fans which meant that even though the daytime temperature while we were there reached and astonishing 43 degrees it was cool and comfortable inside.
