The space
My studio (27m^2) is situated on the ground floor and has a private terrace opening to a large shared garden.

The studio is simplistic and well-equipped: it has 2 single beds with very high quality mattresses (memory foam 90X200 cm) and orthopaedic pillows (50X70 cm), a fully equipped kitchenette with an oven, a sitting area and a bathroom with shower.

A shared laundry room with washing machines and dryers is at your service - literally only a few steps away.

My studio is part of a larger complex. In this complex you will find: the thermal park & SPA of Bains de Saillon, Fitness, Physiotherapy, Beauty salon, Hairdressing salon, Café, Restaurant and a Kiosk.

I am a happily married woman who loves spending time at home and – from time to time - going away to visit other countries and cultures. I have studied education academically, but I do not teach currently.

After a visit to Africa, I felt the urge to knit while inspired by the nature that I saw - and to start designing jewelry based on trees and flowers typical to that continent. That is how my little business started: GeraniumGift Jewelry.

As a vegetarian, I enjoy cooking mostly Italian and Mediterranean food – always using plenty of olive oil and vegetables. Everything is home-made. I bake bread, cakes and other pastry with great delight; but it is the making of jams that is truly one of my favorite hobbies.

On top of that, I like spending some time knitting; I happily listen to classical or ethnic music; and I greatly enjoy reading books, especially when I am able to read them in their original language. I read in Dutch, English, French and Hebrew.

Some yoga has always been part of my routine, and so are daily walks. From time to time, I play the violin. Both of these keep me healthy both in body and mind, and provide me plenty of inspiration.
