Stay in the one of few remaining "real" SF neighborhoods, live like a local.
Cozy north facing bedroom with neighborhood views and panoramic views of San Francisco.
You´ll be close to vibrant shops, restaurants and cafe’s. Alemany Farmers Marked (SF hidden gem) is nearby.
Wireless Internet and cable TV in house. Full kitchen so you can make all your meals equipped gas stove, microwave, coffee maker, spacious refrigerator and dishwasher.
The bed is a queen size with a very good mattress. The room provides a lot of privacy.
For breakfast we have coffee, tea and bread for our guest. It's nothing fancy but at least you won't leave our home hungry or sleepy in the morning.
Your room, living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, backyard and laundry area.
Interaction with Guests
Interactions with guests can be as little or much interaction as is desired. We're very easy going, friendly and very perceptive as to guests desire for interaction. We've made great friendships with many people that have stayed. We're also just as happy letting you enjoy your stay with as little interaction if that's your preference.
Quiet, safe original SF neighborhood with close access to everything you'll want to see during your stay in SF. You can get a good quiet night sleep but easily be in the hustle and bustle within 15 min.
Parking and public transit are very easy. You can be in downtown in 15 to with public transit or take 10 min drive. SF muni bus line # 43 bus stops across the street, subway is a 5 min bus ride away or 15 min walk.
The Airport is 15 min away and there is easy access to the north and southbound freeways (highways 101 and 280). You can also catch the subway to and from the airport with nearly door to door service since the bus stop that stops at the corner takes you to and from the subway.
My home is your home when you're my guest. I just ask that you treat my home with respect and kindness. This is a home not a hotel. I ask that you clean up after yourself when using common areas like the kitchen or living room.
We arrived to San Francisco on New Year's Eve to start our new lives in the city and Gustav showed us around His beautiful home and made us feel super comfortable. Our room was cozy and perfect for coming back after a day of apartment hunting. He was extremely helpful when we asked him about recommendation and advice. We are super happy to have started our new adventure in Gustav's lovely home.
We felt like being at our own home. Gustavo and his girlfriend are really nice people!
The bed is very comfortable. The public transportation is pretty convenient. We highly recommend their place if you want a quiet neighborhood but rather close to downtown!
We felt like at home with Gustav and his gf, it was really perfect and the best airBNB experience that we have ever been. It s the perfect Space of what an airBNB host want! Merci encore :)
As a lone traveler, I depended on a lot of things that were advertised on the posting. The house was located in an area where transportation access to the MUNI was easy. Getting to the house from SFO airport was pretty simple as well. Bathroom was clean and I was able to access it freely. Towels, shampoo and body soap were provided which is great cause I had packed SUPER light. Although I ended up going outside all the time for food as SF is the mecca for it, it was bit disappointing when I found out that the kitchen was in renovation. The renovation was finished during my 2nd to last day/last day. If I ever come back I'm going to use that kitchen. lol. The trade off is that I was given the sunny room instead of the cozy room which I recommend. That room has more space. The rooms lock which was a huge plus for me as privacy is key.
SUPER GRATEFUL that Gustav had listed the washer and dryer. He let me use their laundry detergent which was awesome.
Both Gustav and his girlfriend were super nice when they picked me up from the Bart station on my first night as it was super late. I particularly like that I had the freedom to come and go in the house.
If I ever come back to SF again I would be sure to come book here again.
Gustav has a lovely home and we felt very welcome. The bed was cozy and it was so handy to have the use of towels, bathrobes and shampoo. Very accommodating.
The house is located on a major bus line that got us around the city without a hitch and there is ample parking right out front of his house.
A good stay.
Gustav and his girlfriend were the greatest. The welcomed me with open arms and gave me the sense that their home was my home. My bedroom and the bathroom and kitchen were clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable and in a very quiet part of the house. I would highly recommend Gustav's house to anyone needing to stay in San Francisco.
Stood here for three days. Finally met Gustav on my way out on the last day. He's a really cool guy and has a really nice place. Everything is neat and clean. He provided towels and bath soap plus a few extras in the room such as a SF guide book and a swiss army knife with bottle opener which came in handy. The bed is on the firm side. If you like firm beds then perfect and if you don't, he has a nice furry comforter tucked in between the blankets which makes the bed feel very soft when laying on top of it. Overall great first AirBnB experience. Thanks Gustavo

Hi, my name is Gustav most friends know me as Gustavo. I was born and raised in San Francisco. I'm a Construction Project Manager/Cost Estimator with a construction company in San Francisco. I can honestly say life is pretty amazing. I believe in the law of attraction. Whatever energy you put out into to world you will attract back. I feel blessed and thankful for every day, every person and everything in my life. I love to make the people around me smile and laugh. I take care of those I feel strongly about because I want to, not because I expect anything in return. I’m passionate about the things I care about and I make it a point to treasure ever moment.
I love making a difference in the lives of those around me, travel, architecture, construction, dancing (salsa, merengue, electronica, rock or just about anything with a good rhythm), culinary arts, wine tasting, music, film, fine art, horseback riding, motorcycle riding kayaking, skiing, snorkeling and delicious food move me. I enjoy throwing random little get togethers for friends and guests at my place, cooking up a delicious meal and being an amateur mixologist for the night.
Airbnb is an amazing concept, it gives people a way to see places on a budget and from a whole new and exciting perspective. I've been fortunate enough to have traveled to many incredible places around world. I use Airbnb all the time see new places from local perspectives and also meet interesting people.
