We loved this beautiful and comfortable apartment. The location was amazing as Rue Montorgueil was wonderful and we did not really need to use public transport as it was so central. The apartment was stylish, bright and well equipped with really comfortable beds. I cannot praise our host highly enough; he was incredibly kind and helpful which was hugely appreciated. I would always seek to stay in one of his apartments should we revisit Paris. A delightful stay!
Lovely apartment in superb location, nicely furnished with super bathroom and kitchen that is small but well able to manage cooking dinners for our family of 4. Apartment is located in rear courtyard and therefore extremely quiet, but right outside main entrance is lively Rue Montorgeuil. Even sister-in-law who lives in Paris (but very tight for space for visitors) stressed what a great location our apartment was in. Cafes, supermarket, boulangerie, restaurants all right on door step. Metro station Sentier at 1 minutes walking distance, Reaumur & Sebastopol less than 5 minutes walk. We never met host but felt very well looked after via very detailed instructions on finding apartment and phone calls when we required help. Highly recommended.

Just checked out of Jean-Francois' apartment - great experience. Not only was the apartment just as nice in person as it was online, Jean-Francois couldn't have been a better host. He provided precise directions, a detailed info packet and great recommendations that anticipated our every need - all very much appreciated. We highly recommend this apartment.
Great location, very lively and trendy area , rue montorgueil probably one of the best spot in Paris!
The appartment is cosy and very comfortable, and jean francois was very careful about each details, definitely a good host.
Where to begin? Just look at the pictures on the website! The place was clearly renovated recently and was clean and beautiful. Perfect for the two of us enjoying our 10-year wedding anniversary. We rented the apartment for a week in early November, and it was a great home base for exploring Paris for the first time. Jean-François provided excellent step-by-step instructions to help us get from Charles de Gaulle airport via the RER train and Metro subway system to the apartment. The location is great because of the very easy access to the Sentier metro stop and an amazing variety of bread, pastry, cheese, chocolate, wine and seafood vendors on charming Rue Montorgueil. It's also steps from a grocery store, restaurants, cafés, bars and other everyday necessities. All of the major attractions - including the Louvre, Opera Garnier, Pompidou Center and Notre Dame - are either within easy walking distance or a quick subway ride. The bed was amazingly comfortable and we slept soundly every night. The bedroom was on the inside of the courtyard so it was very quiet. And having Wifi in the apartment was so helpful for planning our day's itineraries. We definitely would stay here again if we go back to Paris, and would recommend this property to anyone looking for a cost-effective alternative to staying in hotel and open to experiencing Paris more as a locals than tourists.
Had a great 10 day stay with my wife, her Mother and sister. The apartment was perfect and Jean-Francois was a perfect host, very helpful and accommodating, responsive to all of our inqueries. The apartment was very comfortable and quiet, with everything we needed. The location was ideal, with a supermarket and so many great restaurants and shops all close by, and a lot of local (non-touristic) color. Within easy walking distance to many of the tourist attractions as well as easy access to Metro stops. All in all, couldn't be better, and I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to visit Paris.

Our stay at Jean-François apartment was AMAZING!! Pictures can be deceiving, but this place was just as beautiful as it looks. Also, the location couldn't of been any better. Right out side the door is a street filled with cafes, bakeries, restaurants, bars, cheese shops, butcher shops, you name it, it's there. Even better, the Sentier metro stop was literally 20 feet from the front door. Free wifi. He also left us a very helpful binder filled with very useful information. We couldn't of been happier.
If and when we return to Paris, we will definitely be contacting Jean-François again.
My wife and I recently visited France to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. As we wanted a truly French/Parisian experience we decided renting an apartment for our Paris leg of the trip would be a good idea. This was our first time using AirBnb and to be honest I didn’t know what to expect. Well, having just returned home, I can say without reservation that we had a great experience with AirBnb and specifically with Jean-François and his apartment. Every previous review on AirBnb is accurate. From the great location and cleanliness of the apartment, to the helpfulness of Jean-Francois….it’s all true and accurate. So here are my two cents worth. With regards to the apartment, it is clean, nicely-furnished, spacious (there was only 2 of us), quiet (despite being on a lively street, the apartment is actually in the back of the building), and well-appointed. Jean-Francois has stocked the apartment with everything you may need, from cutlery to cooking utensils to hair dryer, etc. And should you run out of supplies there is a mini supermarket just steps from the building! The apartment is on the second floor of the building with no elevator (no big deal unless you have lots of heavy luggage I suppose!). We completely lucked out with the superb location of the apartment. There are numerous cafés, restaurants, fromageries, boulangeries, patisseries and other food stores on the street. There is a subway entrance just steps from the building, and depending on which metro line you need, there are additional stations 5-10 minutes’ walk away. As for Jean-François, he was a delight to deal with. He was helpful, organized, responsive, patient and prompt. Everything you would want in a host, especially for first-timers like ourselves. He (and AirBnb) made everything simple and seamless. Highly recommended.
Fantastic apartment in the middle of Paris with multiple patisseries, boulangeries, bistros, & restaurants on your doorstep. We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids under 5) and found the apartment to be of perfect size for a 3 day stay.
The apartment itself was spotless, modern and quiet (and looked just like the pictures).
We never met Jean-Francois but he was very responsive and helpful whenever we required his assistance.
