About This Listing
Lovely room in Charlottetown. 15 min walk to downtown. Wifi, laundry & parking spot included. 1 min to bus to UPEI. Free access to kitchen and living room.
Lyndsay was a great host -- kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. I stayed nearly six weeks, and I would certainly stay there again. I was looking for somewhere quiet, and indeed, both the house and residential street were peaceful. It was also walking-distance to many shops and restaurants, so the location was just perfect in general. My room was just as advertised, and I had everything I needed. Lyndsay was helpful with advice regarding things in Charlottetown, places to see elsewhere on the island, and recommendations for my layover in Toronto.
The listing was described exactly as it was. Lovely room in a cozy, dear to the heart home. No frill, comfortable and spacious. The single room was a single bedroom with space enough to make one's your own. The host Lindsay is a warm soul, with a continuous smile, listening ear, ease of being and heart of gold. I certainly recommend this lovely room at Lindsay's home in Charlottetown.
I am so pleased to say that my first airbnb experience was AWESOME! Lyndsay was a kind and welcoming hostess, allowing me the flexibility I needed during my recent stay. I've never felt more comfortable, relaxed and stress-free while travelling for work. Staying at Lyndsay's was like coming home after work - she made me feel as welcome as if I was visiting family! Loved the cats too :) I will definitely call on Lyndsay again if I am travelling to Charlottetown.
Lyndsay was very kind for me! When my shoes ware completely soaked in the rain, she lent her boots. And I take care of me, even the little things.I felt her like my old sister close. The Cozy Bright House has a green roof and a Lovely Room on the second floor. I was comfortable like my home. And stay with shy two cats. Although the weather was not good, Charlottetown is a small town, and good for walk & see a star! I hope to visit again Charlottetown & Cozy Bright House!
I hope not wrong me, I speak hardly any English.
I advise this adress without hesitate for drop off its suitcase; it is more than one bed that you will find. Indeed, Lyndsay is person on who I could be counted. She gave me good places, to discover the city, to taste of ingredients unknow in my little Belgium, to help me, etc. But even more, she has been honestly patient, attentive and understanding with me. Indeed, she took the time to speak and listen me although I know only the basics in English. Through Lyndsay, I progressed and I begin understand the Islanders (when they speak slowly and pronounce well).
I was at home without there be. I will come back without hesitate.
Thank you very much for this wonderful and amaizing month that I passed in your company.
Lyndsay is an excellent hostess and make everything possible to make you feel at home. She also assists with hints and good chats! I really enjoyed my stay!

About the Host, Lyndsay
I recently moved to Charlottetown and I love it here! I was born and raised in Toronto, but I have also lived in Vancouver, and in Sydney, Australia. When I am not working I like to read, do yoga, learn about gardening, knit, watch movies & BBC TV shows. I like supporting farmers' markets & I try to shop as locally as I can. I would be happy to host you. I was warmly welcomed by airbnb hosts when I travelled to Australia and hosted several people when I lived in Sydney. (I acquired 2 young short haired cats in August 2013. I keep them out of the guest room but if people don't like cats at all, or are very allergic, they may be bothered by them. I thought I was allergic to cats but don't seem to be allergic to these ones!)
