Salta is it...
Famous for its colonial architecture in recent years came from Salta to become an important tourism center. For its attractions was nicknamed Salta la Linda ("Salta the Beautiful"). According to scholars, the word jumps was the product of a deformation of the Aymara word (the original indigenous) sagta, which means it hermosa ("the beautiful"), and finally finally remained "Salta, the beautiful" or "gorgeous" as they say nowadays.

Nice and big apartment in the city center with very nice and helpfull hosts. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay!
This apartment is well located within easy walking distance of the centre of Salta, and Rafa and Marce were very welcoming. On our visit in August 2013 we were disappointed to find problems with the plumbing, gas and wiring, and some other things useful to travellers (such as sink plugs and soap) were missing. However our hosts were quick to rectify problems when we mentioned them, and I'm sure they will improve the provisions for future guests.
The apartment is spacious, clean, and very well located, a few blocks from the Plaza 9 de Julio. Rafa and Marce are wonderful, helpful hosts. As English-speaking guests with lousy Spanish skills we had a few moments in which we needed to resort either to (website hidden) Translate, or to Marce's very helpful sister Monica. Both were very helpful. Salta is a really fascinating city with great cultural and geographical features. Traffic can be intense in the early morning and into the evening on weekdays, so if you are sensitive, earplugs could be a wise investment.
This is the final rate, including any fees from the host and Airbnb.
