Wuto Ohanajaya is a residential accommodation in Tokyo.

The concept is "Discovering home in the heart of adventure," which not only provides clean, comfortable, and safe accommodations but also offers a travel-like experience where you can be inspired and stimulated by the local culture and relax as if you had just moved to this town.

Katsushika is an old area, you can enjoy the culture, the lovely town, and the fascination with food in this area

The space
The house is full of wooden materials. It is built mainly of Japanese cypress, with pillars and fittings made of red pine and other Japanese woods.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath. You may feel a faint sweet smell of wood.

The flooring is also made of solid wood, and the expression of the wood is clearly visible. Please lie down and feel the forest on your skin.

The walls are also unique. These are not the wallpaper found in most modern Japanese houses, but plaster walls, an ancient Japanese lacquered wall. These walls are white and have a beautiful, harmonious appearance, and at the same time, they are excellent at controlling humidity. Feel it for yourself.

We also chose furniture and other items that retain the look of wood together with the designer. We hope you will relax in this traditional, modern, Japandi quality space.

- Enjoying Food
The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary tools for cooking, as well as a three-burner stove with grill, automatic dishwasher, wine glasses, etc. The space is of the highest quality. Try new flavors with uniquely Japanese seasonings, or relax with a cup of tea or coffee.

- Work Environment
The perfect work environment is created by two nomads, with over 1Gbps wireless internet, 27-inch monitors, easy-to-use work desks and full-fledged office chairs.

- A Taste of Living
We use only what we have tried and tested ourselves, without compromise.

Guest access
All 2nd and 3rd floors are available with separate kitchens, toilet and bath. 1st floor is the owner's living space with separate kitchen, toilet and bath from the guest space. They are separated by a door that can be locked, so they are completely private. Only the entrance and shoe storage are shared.
A balcony is also available, but please keep it quiet. No BBQ.

Other things to note
Stairs
To get to your room, you will need to climb the indoor stairs. Please be careful when carrying heavy luggage up the stairs, as they are narrow.

Where you’ll be

Katsushika-ku, Tokyo Prefecture, Japan

Tokyo has been the capital of Japan since the Edo period (1603-1867) and has been the world's largest city in terms of population for 400 years. Although Tokyo has an image of an urban city where many people are busy with business and shopping, the Katsushika area where Wuto Ohanajaya is located is a downtown area where people's lives have taken root for a long time. Despite being an inorganic metropolis, people in this area have cherished the spirit of Tokyo, valuing emotion and humanity.

Although it is only a 15-minute train ride to central Tokyo and only an hour from both Narita and Haneda airports, the gateways to Tokyo, the area has an unpretentious, traditional townscape, and many people have grown up here for a long time, while others have come for the ease of living. (Many people have grown up in the area for a long time, and many have come here for the ease of living.)
) The town is a mixture of nostalgia and newness, a diverse mix of people while retaining traditions and culture, and such chaos is tolerated.
Once you come here, for some unknown reason, you will want to come back. Once you stay here, you will fall in love with this town for some unknown reason.

The tip to enjoy this town more is to forget the "traveler" for a moment and try to become a "resident.

We are a couple who love to travel.I like to learn about local things, whether in Japan or abroad.I like to cook with local seasonal ingredients from local supermarkets, so I mainly use Airbnb when traveling.I travel with my son, who was born in 2025 :) In addition to renting out their own home when they are traveling, they also manage several listings in Katsushika, a downtown area of Tokyo where they live. I want to convey the real Tokyo and its lifestyle, which is different from the tourist spots, so I host in this old town with good access to the airport, making it perfect for your first trip to Japan. From the experience of working on a computer and cooking while traveling, we aim to provide a home where you can work easily and relax as if you were at home.
