Please take care of our apartment as if it were your own, respect the peace and silence, please refrain from smoking, protect the new sofa with its cloth cover and take the extra effort to separate and recycle waste. Many thanks :-)
We spent a sublime fortnight in the Eternal City in the Anfuso's wonderfully comfortable apartment. Everything worked so well, bath, shower, washing machine, kitchen, etc., and we were especially grateful for the WiFi and the elevator.
Our welcome was very warm and eminently practical. We were met by someone who was able to explain the day-to-day of the apartment very clearly and then left us to our stay.
The apartment is (fortunately) not really at the tourist-clogged Spanish Steps, but is actually just a block south of Piazza del Popolo, in a neighborhood that Romans come to on weekends, but others, less. It has a wonderful terrace overlooking the rooftops toward the pines of the Borghese Park: an absolutely stunning site for morning coffee and general lounging. It is an easy walk to most of the "Historic Center" of Rome which, for me, centers on the Pantheon.
Everything was so clean and tidy when we got there, and the apartment was easy to keep clean during our stay. The kitchen is very practical. There's a wonderful farmers' market about 10 min walk to the south., and a couple of very good grocery stores in the neighborhood (Carrefour Express and Punto) as well as specialty shops.
Altogether, easily five out of five stars!
Checking in and checking out worked out seamlessly. The apartment's location is first-class, incredibly central. In spite of the area being a very busy one, the apartment is incredibly quiet. It has a lot of light and it is very cozy. It has everything you need and you really feel at home. Also, it has a very powerful lock, so you feel perfectly safe.
Perfect location, right in the heart of Rome and close to all main attractions. Wonderful shops and restaurants very close by. Apartment was exactly as described and well equipped - wonderful balconies to enjoy the morning and evening sunshine. All in all a perfect stay, thank you. Will certainly try and return soon.
A very nice flat with a beautiful view from the apartment. There is everything you need to feel comfortable and also a supermarket close-by. It is wonderfully located and a good starting point to walk around in Rome. Very friendly and helpful proprietors. We’ve had a very good time in this place!
