Bayview cottage sits right in the middle of the beautiful little village of kilcrohane. Elaine had the house ready for us upon our arrival. When we met elaine it was like meeting a long lost friend. She made us feel right at home in this gorgeous part of west cork. The house has a great view of dunmanus bay. The kitchens and bathrooms are well equipped and the house is very spacious. Elaine gave us great advice on things to do, places to visit, places to eat, local taxi numbers... she was terrific. We got to know the characters in the village by hanging out in Eileen's bar and partaking in the sing song on Saturday night. The entire sheeps head peninsula is stunning and Elaine's hospitality made our stop in this gorgeous part of the world even better. We will be back!

This house was really beutiful and very well kept. Elaine was a perfect host, she gave us ll the information and a box full of toys for the kids :-)... which was very helpful in the rainy days! Kilchroane is a small village, but it has a few shops and a pub where we listened to very good music. Playground and beaches can be easily reached on foot. Bantry and the Beara Peninsula are within 30 min drive. Thank you!!!!

Just a big thank you to our host Elaine. The photographs of the accommodation and the area did not do justice to our experience. Our visit was perfect in every way. The house is fully stocked with everything you will need. I haven't been to Cork before but will definitely go back. The accommodation is a lot bigger than we thought from the photos. Anyone visiting the area will not find anything better!!

Perfect spot right in the village of Kilcrohane. I didn't see Elaine until we left as we were out alot, but she texted me several times to make sure we were all OK for everything. The house is literally steps from the shop and local pub, an extra few steps to The Creamery cafe. Very clean and well kept, would stay again!

Elaine's cottage was in perfect conditions when we arrived, even the heat was one (special thanks for that! ). Bedrooms were very comfy and had plenty of storage and toilets were perfectly clean. The only thing that I would have liked to be different was the fire place. A few wooden blocks would have been better, although it was not bad at all with the briquettes. Elaine is a lovely woman, she left a welcome present and a card for us and was very helpful at any time, despite we arrived on the 25th of December. Massive thanks, Elaine :) We had an amazing time in Kilcrohane, with live music and dancing in the local pubs. We felt very welcomed. Much gratitude to all xx

I live in Kilcrohane - close to Bay View Cottage - with my husband, cat and 2 dogs and am on hand to help and assist and make your stay in our small village as enjoyable as possible. My favourite hang out is the Kilcrohane Pier where I love to swim - oh and Eileen's pub on Sunday evenings - music from 6 pm - 9 pm every Sunday year round.
