Sandra and Hervé are the most accommodating, generous, all-round lovely folks. They go over and beyond to make you feel right at home, and provide you with loads of helpful tourist information (my favourite is 'Around Brussels in 80 Beers'!). Their warm hospitality was such a great addition to my Brussels experience. I didn't get the time to enjoy their beautiful balcony, so I'm definitely coming back again!
Great experience at Sandra and Herves. The pictures didn't do the bathroom justice. Very clean, hosts were friendly and provided excellent maps and restaurant recommendations. Would recommend staying here. Breakfast option was good as well :)
I had a great experience at Sandra and Herves...both wonderful and friendly hosts! I enjoyed my staying there very much!
The location is great...just a couple of metro stops from the central railway station and from the heart of Brussels...very convenient place to stay!
The room is very comfortable and the bathroom is very nice...you have everything you need. They also give you the chance of having breakfast on the sunny roof terrace with a beautiful view over the city.
I would definitely recommend staying there!
Sandra and Herve were both just wonderful, friendly hosts and the apartment is clean and inviting. Herve provided a detailed overview of Brussels when we arrived and gave us many suggestions which made our one full day a very pleasant one. Their restaurant suggestions were perfect and we had a very full day walking around the city following his outline of the key sights. As for the apartment itself -- the building is a little confusing but makes sense once you figure it out. The private bedroom and bathroom are spacious and comfortable. The location is within easy walking distance of the central train station. Really just the perfect place to spend a few nights in Brussels.
To live in the apartment of Sandra & Hervé is great of fun. Above all it's very convenient to reach from the train station. We have a big bright room and a nice bathroom. The couple is very nich host who has provided us everything we need and the chance to enjoy our beautiful breakfast in the sun. I won't hesitate to recommend their apartment to all of you!
It was really nice being by Sandra and Herve. The room is just fine for few days in Brussel, just as you see it on the pictures. The view from the balcony was great and the host very helpful with everything. I recommended it

About the Host, Sandra & Hervé
Welcome to our apartment in the European quarter. We are in our late 30s professional couple living and working in Brussels.
Sandra is a professional lobbyist with a passion for baking, hiking and cycling. She grew up in the Italian winter resort of Cortina d'Ampezzo in the beautiful Dolomites. She then moved to the US, UK and Spain before landing in Belgium about 10 years ago. She loves Japanese manga and this explains one of the two profile pictures :-)
Hervé is a computer geek and loves photography (especially food photography) but also likes to wonder around London or Paris looking for Banksy's graffiti. He is currently studying Dutch and picking up again playing guitar.
