If we are around we enjoy a good chat! But only as much as the guests like.
The neighbourhood had the best bars and restaurants in Edinburgh. There are good walks too.
The bus connections are excellent from our flat. The bus stops just two minutes from our flat and takes you everywhere.
There is no smoking in the property.
This was a lovely place to spend our week in Edinburgh. Why would anyone want to stay in a hotel when you can stay in places like this at a better price!!
Full of character and homely.
For our stay in Edinburgh Kims place was absolutely perfect. Take the 22 bus to the harbor or into town. Kims appartement is very comfortable and tastefully renovated. A lot of thought has gone into the choice of materials. I recomend spending some time in Kims hallway. Good luck with the giants!!, and thank you for a nice time.
What a wonderful little place to escape! A flat that is full of character and very relaxing. Our stay was very easy and enjoyable. We had everything we needed. Thanks again!
Clean and cosy flat. We didn't meet Kim but she was responsive and helpful in all communication. We enjoyed our stay.
Really awesome place to stay. The apartment is close to everything and really comfortable. Kim was a really attentive host - everything went smoothly. Definitely recommendable.
Thank you very much. We had a nice stay. The apartment is comfortable and cosy. You can use a kitchen with cooking facilities. We would really recommend that place to others. You can easily take a bus to go to the city centre.
What a gem of a place. Far enough away from Old Town that you are not smothered by mobs of tourists and students, but close enough for a 15min stroll into town every day, with an amazing variety of little cafes and restaurants along the way. Kim kindly left full bus route details and cards for cabs, but we loved the walk. And the flat itself was absolutely perfect - a great size, completely clean and quiet, and such a quirky, homely feel. We adored it immediately. Leith itself surprisingly amazed me - I had heard it was run down but we went to some fabulous wine bars and Michelin-starred restaurants just 10mins walk toward the docks. If we had stayed in Old Town or New Town, we probably wouldn't have gone to these fantastic places so we feel very lucky. All in all, we had the perfect location and lovely flat to call home for the bank holiday weekend.
The annexe is a great little space, perfect for a lazy day relaxing and recharging, or to use as a base for festival fun. With easy access to Princes Street via one bus, I could be in the heart of the fringe and book festival action in 10 minutes. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!
We have just returned from a lovely few days staying in Kim's apartment. The apartment was clean, warm and cosy so we felt immediately very at home. Kim had left some shortbread on our arrival which was appreciated after a long journey.
Kim and her family live in the flat next door so were available for any questions or queries but we were also able to independent and self sufficient.
It is easy to get into the centre of Edinburgh, the buses come regularly even on a Sunday. There are also a couple of nice restaurants and a great bakehouse for breakfast or cake in Leith.
I'd definitely recommend this apartment and would stay there again if we visit Edinburgh again.
The flat was great, cosy and spacy in Leith, a lovely Edinburgh area, and Kim was a perfect host.
We had a very nice time.
