The space

The studio apt. is on the first floor, separate from the main house with no shared spaces. It has its own entrance through the backyard garden, which is yours to enjoy. The space itself is modern, clean, and comfortable. The studio has it's own air conditioner/heater, you set the temp to whatever is most comfortable for you. Loved this place! So clean and quiet with all the amenities one might need. Close to a great little bakery and grocery store. We walked the Indian Creek trail to downtown, and it was a perfect daytime excursion.

Thank you Scott and Susan for such a lovely stay! My friend and I drove to Hood River from Seattle for a little girls getaway, this studio was the most peaceful and perfect place- it was beyond clean, so cute and the comforter was quite possibly the fluffiest comforter we’ve ever felt! So much attention to detail- we also loved the shampoo and conditioner and bought the same brand after or stay! Thanks again Scott and Susan

Scott and Susan are awesome hosts. They have a beautiful and private little yard. Let us borrow a bike lock when I forgot mine. The studio is clean, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. Scott recommended an awesome bike ride on Surveyors Ridge and even checked if it was closed due to wild fire. Great little bakery 3 blocks away. This is an awesome rental and these hosts are the best!

We loved staying with Susan and Scott! The apartment is adorable, very clean and cute with everything you might need for a short stay. The garden/sitting area just outside the apartment's private entrance is lovely. The location is not right in the middle of town, but it's a very short drive and even a manageable walk, if you're okay with hills :) The house/apartment is a little tricky to find the first time, but Susan sent a message in advance with tips on how to navigate beyond GPS. We were most impressed with Susan and Scott's communication with us leading up to our trip. There were severe forest fires in the area, and they sent us multiple messages to update us on the situation and make helpful suggestions. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay for a couple nights in Hood River, and we would definitely come back to stay again!

My husband and are both live and work here in the Hood River community. We try to enjoy all the activities the area has to offer including running, hiking, mountain biking, SUPing, white water rafting, skiing, and snowboarding. We feel truly fortunate to get to live, work, and play in such a beautiful place.
