Vic was very welcoming and made sure I was doing well during my stay. He helped carry my luggage out, and was helpful. The beds are real, thank goodness, and not air mattresses.
Vic is a great host who makes you feel welcome. He was accommodating to my requests and the house would often have family dinners after the end of a long day. Great environment to come home to. During my stay, the house was almost to capacity but everyone was considerate about the shared space. Would stay here again when I'm back in town.
This is a great space in a great neighborhood! I stayed for 11 weeks with Vic at Hacker Home, and he always made it feel like home, from weekly family dinners to coordinating Thanksgiving and making sure everyone at the home was respectful but also got along. It was my first experience with Airbnb, so I was a bit nervous, but Vic helped a lot with making everything go smoothly and answering all my questions beforehand.
I had a great time ! People was very kind at HackerHome Haight. I strongly recommend it. Very clean place and location was great, one block away of Muni transport.
I couldn't be happier with my HackerHome experience. The price was my favorite thing, of course, but I was totally comfortable, transportation was convenient, parking was easy if you watched the signs!, and the other guests were fun for me to be around---AND I needed to walk up and down those stairs for good exercise! Thanks, Vic, and I hope I can stay again when I come back to San Fran!
HackerHome is a cool place! Location Mariposa/3rf is close to Muni so you can get almost everywhere easily. The hosts are very kind and the communication is excellent. It is a nice place to meet people from all over the wotld too! Highly recommended!
Vic was really helpful in getting a place close to Moscone Center, where I actually needed to go. He was quick to reach at any time.
The place was packed with great people to stay with, which made me trip oh so much better.
