Studio home with a petite footprint. Cozy and comfortable on 30 acres with organic garden, trails, waterfalls and sweet views of Hilo Bay.
Historic Hilo town is fun for shopping, movies and some great eating experiences. Our own small black sand beach with beautiful snorkeling and swimming is a 20 minutes drive and it's only 1 3/4 hours to the Big Islands longest white sand beach. The volcano is currently giving a dramatic show of molten lava flowing into the ocean which means we are continuing to grow.
The property is peaceful and removed from the beaten path. Hike to the river or stream, retreat and relax, or take day trips to explore this dynamic island. I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay.
Large lots, nice neighbors, really great for walking with incredible views of Hilo Bay below.
Even though it is only about 15 minutes up the hill from Hilo town, it is on 30 acres and is off the beaten path.
There is no wifi in the house but great cell phone reception. I use a wifi hotspot on my phone for my laptop and iPad and it works great. No TV at the house.
This beautiful little home is in the middle of a macadamia orchard, 20 min. from town. It is off the grid, so forget the electronics and enjoy the peacefulness. Our hosts Rebecca, and her caretakers were great.
This was an amazingly beautiful place to stay. A quiet, safe, beautiful, and remote location, that has a view that left me just sitting for hours on the porch just enjoying the beauty. It was clean and well taken care of. AND the people where really friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place for a single person or a couple - I almost don't' want to tell how good it was cause it won't be available the next time I go.
