  • We have occupied for a week this flat, 2 adults and 3 kids, mid february
Julia came earlier on Saturday than the 14:00 so we could drop off our luggage’s and start visiting Rome with friends
The flat is large indeed, we had a lot of space for 5 and the 2 bedrooms + sofa room would get 10 people sleeping in good comfort.
The decoration is nice and give a special "caché" to this place. We felt at home during that week
Appreciated the lift (4th floor) even if it is a small one
The rooms are silent (don’t hear next door occupants) and the mattresses are all good and hard, like we like them.
We did appreciate the good central heating system as it was 12-15 degrees during the day and below 10 during the night
The area is quiet, with a nice café in front for breakfast (Mr Mario), nice ice cream place, some good restaurant within 3 minutes’ walk and the central location to visit Rome. We found one supermarket with all you need, a rent a car place (car was cheap by all means), florist, gift shop … name it

What we had liked to be better:
The hot shower is not hot any more if someone use hot or cold water (like flushing the toilet) and the shower / bath area is a bit substandard comparing to the rest of the flat
Kitchen is very basic and substandard, no dishwasher, no space to prepare anything (there is a lot of space but no kitchen furniture’s), fridge door open to the right when the wall is on the left. A part from aperitivo preparation we did not use much of the kitchen
The TV is from another era, 42 Cm CRT Nokia TV, we even did not switch it on anyway.
A blue tooth enabled sound system to listen to some music during aperitivo at home before going out for dinner, or in the morning would be nice
Internet is sloooow, but working. Forget about uploading 100 pictures to a service and share them, enough to browse the net and have a coffee.
    In addition
I forgot a bag with laptop, tablet, cameras, cables, chargers etc…. Julia and her team was extremely helpful to get this to a friend in Rome for a DHL, appreciated that
We had an overall good experience and I am happy to recommend this flat a 5 stars, even if some improvement could make it a perfect spot

  • We spent a pleasant week end in Roma thanks to Julia's apartment.
It's at a quiet district but it's next to subway Colosseo and near a Cavour district where you can found a famous bar !
It's a good choice if you are more than 6.

  • Last week we stayed in the 3bedroom apartment of Julia. It was a wonderful stay in a relatively quiet area of Rome. The apartment was very colorful and good to stay with a family of 10, four kids included. The kids loved their room and we loved the coffeebar in front of us where we could start our day in a good italian way. It was very close to the colosseum which gave a nice touch to the location. We could highly recommend this place for families. With best regards, Floor

  • My family of 5 stayed in Julia's apartment for a week. We loved the apartment. It had plenty of room and the location was perfect. We were able to walk to almost all the sites. The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been the inclusion of basic pantry items.
Thanks Julia for letting us stay at your apartment.

  • We had a very good time at Julia's place on Via Sistina. Originally, we had booked her apartment near the Colosseum, but the day we arrived we were upgraded, at no extra cost for us, to a more central apartment because of technical problems with the original place. There were 5 of us and we used both bedrooms (for the grownups) and the two teens slept in the living room (where they carved two beds out of the large wrap-around sofa). On the last night a few friends came over for dinner and we all had a wonderful time. I was able to cook a pot roast and it came out really yummy. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and lots of plates and glasses and silverware. Only thing missing is a moka machine! I suggest they put one in, as .... once in Rome, you better make coffee as the Romans do. ;) I would definitely recommend this place and the help we received from Julia.
One more thing, the apartment is very central and thus extremely convenient if you want to visit all the important sites in Rome. The only drawback is that, being in a very office-use and touristy area, it does not have supermarkets in the area. But if you are not into cooking, and/or need to get some specific food, then it doesn't matter.
