You're gonna live with my parents Camilla and Toleubek. They both are happy to host foreigners in their apartment and interact with them.
From time to time they could offer you some breakfast or traditional lunch / dinner.
The space
It is a rather small but perfect place to sleep or relax:
A cozy room for one person in three room apartment with air conditioner, single bed, bookshelf with home collection and wardrobe.
Guest access
Full access to kitchen, bathroom and toilet. You can do laundries right at home and use high-speed Wi-Fi. Upon arrival you will receive apartment's key and a public transport card, which you can top up and use in bus, metro or tram.
During your stay
We mostly focus on giving our guests the best local experience. Since my parents are the best representation of typical Kazakh couple, you will see their life from within. They both are open-minded and funny, if you have any question or need some help just ask. My mom is quite an outgoing person, she accompanied previous guests in restaurants, theater and local market. So if you're a solo traveler and don't have any friends in the city, my parents could easily become yours.
However if you prefer having some privacy they won't bother you.
Other things to note
Most of the time I live in Germany so my parents are the main hosts for you. They are not as good in English as I am but they are using translator and working hard on improving:)
So far there was no situation where a guest had problems communicating.
We offer flexible times for check-in/out so don't worry if your flight is late at night or early in the morning.
HOWEVER: if you expect to check-in late in the night / very early in the morning, we would encourage you to book one night early to let my parents prepare the room for you, should there be another guest prior your arrival. Same goes for you willing to check-out later in the day.

The neighborhood is suited for upper-middle class families: absolutely safe and friendly, most of the foreigners also prefer to live in Samal-2 district. With a good weather it´s nice to have a walk.
