You may wonder why this name.... it is because this apartment has a story. In fact it belonged to Aunt Lena, which unfortunately I not have known because she died before I was born. But the particular history is that Aunt Lena, who never married, went to teach in the States and during her stay there, she won a great prize in the lottery! With that money, when she came back to Italy, she bought this apartment in Santa Maria Novella in Florence, the city she loved most, and she lived here all her happiest years. When I graduated, I moved to Florence for the University period and also for a few more years. Then the death of my father changed all my plans and now I manage the family farm (Azienda Agricola Marzalla) in Pescia. I left this apartment but the idea is to go back soon. In the meantime I recommend it to those who want to spend a happy holiday or business trip in this beautiful city, which is still on a human scale. The apartment is friendly and the view over Florence from the rooftops is beautiful. The apartment
is composed of kitchen (electric and micro-wave oven, dish-washer) ), WC with washbasin, single bedroom, lumber-room, complet bathroom with washing-machine, double bedroom, studio with divan bed, lounge with TV and internet wifi. Air conditioning (not in the kitchen) and individual heating system. Basement to keep bicycle. Elevator (+ flight of stairs).
200 meters far from the railway station of santa Maria Novella, 300 meters far from Piazza del Duomo , 500 meters far from the San Lorenzo's market
