  • We travelled to Rome with 2 kids, and this was the perfect place for us - much better than staying in a hotel. The apartment is well-represented in the profile photos, and we were impressed with the high ceilings and the quality of the interior refurbishment. We had lots of space to relax before and after our days out in the city, and we could take our time making moka coffee and having breakfast at our own pace. Both bedrooms face the interior courtyard, and the windows block any outdoor sounds. Noise was not a problem for us. Everything was in great working order, shower/bathroom, gas stove, dishwasher, etc.

The apartment manager was helpful during check-in and check-out, and even told us about the history of the building.

The mainly residential neighbourhood is just outside the train-station-tourist-hotel zone, with lots of busy pizzerias and restaurants with generally non-tourist prices. We felt totally safe and comfortable there. (If it's your first time in Rome, don't be put off by the graffiti on the building exteriors!)

Tram #3 is a short walk away, and will take you to the Coliseum and beyond. There are at least 2-3 supermarkets within a 5 min walk. We used the one on via Tiburtina.

Arrival tip: We took the airport bus to Termini (train station), but had to wait a long time for a taxi. It would have been better to use a fixed-price taxi directly from the airport (the regulated price is under EUR 50.00), or the transfer service. It's walkable from Termini if you don't have kids and/or a lot of luggage.

Communication with the owner was efficient and clear. A great experience for our first airbnb booking.

  • We had a wonderful stay in Rome where the apartment was all that it needed to be; great central location really close to Trevi fountain, quite affordable, and all basics available.
A very nice addition is the contact person Luisa; she is really friendly, available when you need her, speaks excellent English, and we really appreciated it when she rushed down to the apartment on Sunday to help us out!

  • Very nice flat and location, all the main monuments and museums are at maximum 15/20 minutes by foot. Our hosts were very friendly, we have been welcomed well and they let us stay an hour later on the last day. The place is clean, confortable and well maintained. We would like to raise that this place may be noisy with the restaurant down the buidling (Italian smokers can speak loud). Except this point, we had a very nice stay there.

  • Great location and the loft was amazing and clean.

  • What a superb location! The apartment is cozy, perfectly equipped and serviced. The web description does not give justice to its real beauty: opening the windows in the morning and watching the busy market on the square is a unique experience. The interior design is exquisite and every single detail is looked after. Don't worry about the noise: windows are sound proof and the bed is so comfortable that you'll need the alarm clock to avoid oversleeping! Hosts are amazingly kind and professional and available for any need. You cannot find a better location in the Eternal City! Strongly recommended !
