The Sheung Wan neighbourhood is ever changing and a fantastic mix of "old' and "new" Hong Kong. This apartment is located in the heart of Hong Kong's commercial, cultural and shopping districts and within short walking distance to the subway and HK Macau Ferry Pier. A few minutes walk away from the harbour front and the fantastic Sun Yat Sun Memorial Park and Public swimming pool over look the world famous Victoria Harbor.
Buses, Trams, Minibuses and taxis all run right out side the building all conveniently taking you through Central and all other parts of Hong Kong like Causewaybay, Wan Chai, the exhibition center and beyond.
Once you arrive in Hong Kong, everything is quite simple and all starts with a call from the FREE phones at the airport located in the hall immediately after you pass through baggage customs. There is also a Visitors Center there if you would like to pick up some maps, local travel guides, etc. to read on your way to the apartment. If you need a local SIM card, there is a 7-11 in the middle section of the main arrival hall where they see all types of SIM cards, I usually prefer the PCCW brand as it is the larges local operator.

The place looks exactly like the photo, very clean. It's small, but has everything, a great model of how to utilize spaces maximally, Jason'e mom, an american lady who has been living in HK for 35 years, picked us up. She is very efficient and witty. We only needed bed and shower, so everything went very well. The location is walking distance to HK-Macau terminal, and IFC, and Mid-level.
This was a great stay! Conveniently located near the MTR and bus lines. The apartment was very clean and looked just like the pictures. Jason was very communicative throughout the stay. I would recommend this apartment for anyone traveling to Hong Kong. I will definitely be staying here again!
We really enjoyed staying in the apartment. It was just like the pictures. We felt location was good and the place was very clean. For Hong Kong this is a good apartment and we felt it was value for money. Have in mind that apartments in HK are tiny so although apartment is small it was nice for a HK apartment. Jason was also very good at responding to emails and helpful.
Jason is a great host, he has been excellent in responding to my queries and issues raised. The location is great, transportation and good food are within reach. Looking for a good host and affordable accommodation, you may consider Jason and his apartment.
Had a fantastic time in Hong Kong. The apartment is more than suffice for the 3 of us. Jason wasn't in town but we were greeted by his helper who was clear with instructions and very polite. I had a couple of questions here and there during the trip and Jason is always prompt to respond despite being out of town. The bathroom is small (but it is HK), but everything is good, in place and in order. I like that we had good wifi and fresh towels and even a spare quilt cover for the cold weather. Sheung Wan MTR station is about 10-15mins walk away which is pretty convenient as well. Overall, a good experience! :)
Jason's apartment was a perfect landing spot for our vacation in Hong Kong. My family of four stayed there very comfortably. The apartment was clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable. The building is watched by friendly doormen. We appreciated Jason's great communication and quick response to our questions. The apartment is in a great location. There is a Starbucks and local indoor market right across the street for breakfast. We LOVED charming Hong Kong and will definitely stay in one of Jason's apartments the next time we're there.
Experience was mostly positive. Arrived late on a rainy night and were promptly met at the door to the building by two of Jason's assistants/helpers. The apt is small as advertised and the bathroom tiny. It was basically clean but no longer as fresh as it probably was immediately after being renovated. We had some trouble with things working eg the heater did not function and the power bar failed on our last day. Jason was very responsive to our concerns and exchanged the heater on the same day. The wifi worked very well. We liked that fact that windows open and the location is good. The Sheung Wan area may appear dismal on a cool, rainy night but wakes up fascinating and captivating esp when the sun is out.
Great stay. Clean, hot water, comfy bed, spacious, great location. Friendly host!
I called Jason as pre-arranged upon our arrival using the free phones provided at the airport. Unfortunately, Jason was unable to meet us as he was at work. He had arranged for his helper (a Filipino) to meet us near the apartment.
We were led to our apartment and was given a brief introduction to the use of appliances. As the helper was relatively new as a host (he said so himself), he was unable to answer many of our queries.
The apartment was clean and comfortable for my friends and I. The location was great, about 10-15 mins (depending on your speed) walk to the nearest MTR, and under 10 mins to Macau Ferry Terminal. There is dim sum restaurant across the apartment, the food was good and affordable.
Though we felt very safe as there is always a security guard keeping watch 24/7, it would have been better had the gate to our apartment not been 'taped' together. We were unable to utilize the gate at all.
It would also be helpful too if there were some instructions (in hard copy) on how to use the washing machine and dryer as well as the TV.
My friends and I would go and stay at this apartment again if we were to go back to Hong Kong again.
The apartment is clean and comfortable. Rather convenient to get to places as well. Thanks Jason and Veronica.
