Thank you Andrea - we had a great stay at your lovely house Wonderful beds, generous amenities and a cozy warm house during cold Melbourne nights. Truly a home away from home

Loved this place! welcoming, warm, felt like home. So central, public transport around the corner as well as great restaurants.

The owner of this home lives in the same property, and is very thoughtful and accommodating. Unfortunately, the place is very noisy due to nearby traffic and trams, and hot water limited. Also, the kitchen is very small and poorly lit.

This is a historic property with antique furnishings and very comfortable beds. Right beside Melbourne University and Lygon St. Everything in easy reach. Andrea is very obliging and helpful and my son and I felt fortunate to have picked this airbnb. Quiet at night, two bathrooms, lots of books. The kitchen is just enough for basic meals and that suited us fine. Highly recommended.

As will be apparent from the photos, you are staying in a Victorian terrace house with original fittings and modern comforts. Beds very comfortable, house is very close to Lygon St and restaurants and shops. There is quite a steep flight of stairs which could be challenging for some with heavy cases but the pluses all outweigh this fact. We enjoyed 3 days there and would definitely stay again. Andrea is a very friendly and informative host.

Having lived in Italy for 12 years, I still have a strong connection to Italian food,
culture and the people. Enzo, my partner, is an interpreter/translator in Italian and I ran an Italian bookshop for 15 years. Currently we are building a weekender in the country and loving the challenges of re-purposing old materials and learning new skills. We both enjoy travelling and discovering new places, but especially enjoy time with our beautiful 3 grandchildren in Australia. Our experiences as Airbnb hosts has enriched our lives by meeting new people from a great variety of local and overseas places.
