The Space

Large 1 Bedroom on the top floor of a Newer Elevator equipped building. Great Views Comfy Bed and all the ammenities you need for great stay in NYC. Views of the entire Manhattan skyline from the roof. Huge Bathroom.

Ridgewood is on the border of Brooklyn and Queens with both the L and M lines with quick and easy access to Manhattan and the Ridgewood Bus Terminal for quick and easy access to anywhere in Brooklyn and Queens. Plenty of restaurants and shops just out your doorstep and the Myrtle shopping district just blocks away. Close enough for a night out in the city or williamsburg and far enough for a good nights rest without all the noise. This is a penthouse apartment with an elevator directly across the front door (this is RARE for NYC)

Cleaning fee: Please remember to bring $80 cash during check-in for the cleaning fee. Sometimes people add the cleaning fee to the Airbnb price but collecting it cash saves us both money since airbnb adds a percentage fee on all money collected through their platform.

Late check-in and check-out fee: Check-in time is at 2 PM and check-out time is at 11 AM. You may extend your check-out and check-in time by two hours earlier or later if there are no incoming reservations that require the apartment. However, beyond 2 hours, there is a $25 per hour fee. For example, if you check in at 8 PM, you will have to pay an extra $50 cash at check-in for the 2 hours beyond 6 PM (4 PM plus the 2 hour grace period). Keep in mind that my housekeeper must pay for a babysitter and late-night transportation to her home when making check-ins at night.

  • My girlfriend and I had a great time staying at rudy's place. The place was tidy and more beautiful than the pictures portray. It's very very spacious too. There's a subway right outside the apartment. Lots of shops on the road.We will definitely stay here again next time we in New York. Thanks Rudy.

  • Rudy's place was an awesome place to call home for our first trip to NYC! Super cozy and comfortable, and a great way to relax after a day in the city, which can be exhausting! Rudy was very accommodating and even worked out us checking in a little earlier than expected! Monica the maid was very polite and explained everything that we needed to know. The area surrounding the apartment is a nice family oriented area of Queens with lots of options for food and drink within walking distance. My favorite part was the 5 dollar eyebrow threading down the street! The kitchen has ALMOST everything you could ever dream of needing. My only problem was that there was no coffee for the Keurig and I couldn't seem to find any K-cups within walking distance. Also there was no wine opener, which I found strange since this kitchen had SO many appliances like an ice cream maker and a waffle iron! All in all I adored this apartment, and felt right at home in it and I would definitely rent from Rudy again. Thanks Rudy!!!

  • I was so happy that I came across Rudy's listing. The apartment was PERFECT! It's steps away from the train! The apartment itself was beautiful. Very New York! Spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. 100 times better than a hotel. If you are visiting New York and want to live like a New Yorker in style and comfort! I would highly recommend staying here! Thank you Rudy!! Will definitely stay here again next time!

  • Apartment was big as in the pics, very closed to the M line. services provided by Monica and the maid at the check-in point was confusing--the maid did not come on time to let us just drop off the luggage, the house was not cleaned yet at the check in time, which was 2pm. But overall, the apartment was nice--big and convenience.

  • Rudy was very responsive to our questions. He has a flexible attitude.
The appartment was spacious and clean and conveniently located close to the M line.
If you wish to sleep with open windows, you may hear some noise from the street.
We had a great time and will keep this appartment in mind in case of future visits.

  • Place looked better than the picture. Transportation should be convenient since the Seneca Avenue station is literally a minute away. For me though, there was a construction going on during my stay, so the metro didn't run in proper schedule. Make sure to read Rudy's detailed info on cleaning fee and late check-in and check-out fee.

About
I've been in New York for 7 years (originally from Arizona). I love to travel but it always feels great coming home to Manhattan. I work in the Spa Industry but I'm taking a break to travel and enjoy my Thirties a bit more. When it comes to the apartment, I have a passion for Modern interior design. I keep the place clean and I'm very flexible with arrangements (keys, flight arrivals/delays, etc) and I'm always reachable. I love NYC and I hope you get to experience it like I have. I'd be glad to give you tips of where to go for good food, music, art, dancing... There's a scene for everything here.
