Jeff was a very accommodating host. We planned on arriving early in the morning, and Jeff was very flexible with our check in time.
We came with a group of 6 people, and were all comfortable with sleeping and making a big breakfast every morning.
The house was just far enough away from SXSW to have easy parking and a quiet night.
We would definitely stay at the house again if we were to come to Austin again.
Not only did Jeff leave the fridge fully stocked with beer (!!!), he was flexible on the arrival time. Really appreciated his input and thoughts on activities for the weekend based on his local expertise. Had a great time! Had a little trouble figuring out the heating situation/space heaters but mastered them by the time we left. The price was absolutely unbeatable too.
Jeff was a good host and did a good job of communicating with us ahead of our stay. The house is a little small but still comfortable, especially since we were out most of the time anyway, and the Barry Manilow's Greatest Hits album awaiting us on the piano when we arrived was a nice touch. The neighborhood was fine, and it was a short walk to a lot of really good restaurants and bars. No complaints from any of the members in our party.
Jeff was super great to communicate with and made everything so easy. We were able to check in as soon as we came into town, and everything was ready for us, Jeff even left us some bagels and coffee to get us started after the long trip. The house was conveniently situated and comfortable. Jeff was available to be contacted for any issues. The wifi signal was not super strong but besides that everything else was just as listed and we had a comfortable stay. Thanks for hosting us Jeff!
Amazing place to stay. Jeff's house is comfy, clean and bang in the middle of the funnest part of town. He's a wonderful host too - he told us the best places to catch good music, let me borrow his bike and even ran us back to the airport. The house is a fantastic base to explore Austin from. Highly recommend staying here.
Jeff was nice and kept in contact well before I checked into his house. The house is well maintained and had a Austin Charm to it. If you want to be near Downtown with the the hustle and bustle Jeff's place is it.

About the Host, Jeff
I'm originally from Dallas, and have lived in Austin since 2002. I'm a full time musician and audio engineer, and spend most of my time making music around town as a sousaphonist.
