Visitors will have the opportunity to watch the handweavers of Ardara producing the tweed for which Donegal is famous. This is also a popular area for its beautiful beaches. Visit the golden beaches and caves of Maghera and the fabulous white beaches of Narin And Portnoo. Shop, pub and restaurant 2.5 miles.

The cottage is a wonderfully cosy original gem in a perfect location for exploring the many beaches, villages etc. The wood-burning stove does an incredible job of heating the whole cottage (in addition to the electric heating...). Take a walk down the back lane (right at the gate, then left) and discover the walking trail and river plus old bridge (and if the timing is right, the best blackberries I have tasted). If you like industrial archeology, the Fintown railway is a must!

This is an amazing cozy get away. If your looking for an authentic Irish cottage feel to your stay then this is it. Plenty of garden space etc and in a nice secluded location.

Barry is very responsive when calling in, self check in was super easy, location was a little difficult to find when not coming from the given route since the sign can only be seen from one direction.
