bright room in early 1900 characteristic apartment located in a real melting pot rome neighborood, well served by public transportation also by night. Close to Pigneto, pedestrian area with restaurants and nightlife. Large and well equipped kitchen.
Our house (made in 1924) is a pretty old-fashioned house and has a T form : in the first corridor is a bright double room that we rent (where there is one double bed in the mezzanine with an orthopedic mattress and one double sofa bed), while in the second corridor there are entrances to the kitchen ( fully equipped and with a cozy living room), to the bathrooms, to our rooms and to our childrens. wifi internet is free and flat. To get here, there are five floor to do unfortunately by stairs, but the view and the light is very impressive.
accomodating up to 4 people, with space for additional cot suitable for children up to 3 years old.
two bathrooms, washing machine, wi-fi, satellite TV, large, well equipped and cozy/comfortable kitchen with living room. Access to the top terrace, from where it is possible to enjoy wonderful sunsets on roman roofs.
Life in the house is a typical everyday life of a family with children who loves cooking and meeting new people. Possibility of being welcomed in sign language.

We had a short but intense holliday in Rome.
The room and the whole appartment are well equiped
and there are nice drawings and more vintage graphics all over the place.
The centre of Rome is easy to reach by public transport.
It's the first time we travelled by airbnb, but we recommend it to everyone, since we had an excellent stay in Allegra's appartment.
The visit to Allegra and Michele was very great. We came in and it felt like staying with friends. The family is absolutely golden, pleasant and attentive. We became lots of great tips and the best coffee in town. The room is clean and comfortable. Just a great feel-good for nice price. Thank you for the beautiful time with you. We love to come again.
This is the perfect place to stay in Rome! Beautiful home, close to public transport and in a beautiful neighborhood with amazing reasonably priced food. Stay here and avoid getting ripped off for breakfast and dinner in the center. Also Allegra makes the best coffee in Italy and the whole family is lovely and unique and helpful. The room is fully stocked with maps and info for getting around, and the bed is super comfy. And not much more expensive than a hostel. :)
Our first time in Rome was an amazing experience, we were overwhelmed by the beauty and the dynamic of the city and much appreciated the hospitality of Allegra and Michele. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and at ease, they offered us wine, a space in the fridge and tips for good neighboorhouds and restaurants. Conclusion: All the good reviews below don't lie; Allegra and Michele are definitly one of the best hosts one could wish for!
Staying at Allegra's and Michele's was a real pleasure! Hence, we immediately felt welcomed: i.e., there was always amazing Neapolitanean coffee, great talks and precious advises what to do in Rome (e.g. Capitoline Museums, MAXXI, Francesco (una trattoria veramente romana), etc.), not to forget the two gorgeous bambini Marcello e Georgia. Staying with this wonderful family will definitely spice up your Roman experience! Therefore, and as their beautiful apartment is not only very well connected by public transport, but also located near a park e.g. for a little run, a great bakery to have breakfast or buy sandwiches/pizza for lunch breaks and not far from the Pigneto area, we highly recommend you this address!
Dear Allegra and Michele! You're the perfect hosts!!
Your apartment is very cosy, nice and ideally for rest.
There are all necessary things for comfortable living: clean towels and bed linen (we could take it as much and as often as we needed).
You gave us our own space in frige)and also let us use your washing mashine, all the kitchen utensils) it was really nice of you!!Thank you!
Great thanks for your friendly attitude, your unexpectable gifts, your notes with recommendations, your coffee and a real interest in our resting.
Your family is very friendly and intresting, we were glad to stay in it.
Sorry that we didn't find enough time for good chating!
Good luck, interesting guests and, no doubts, we will recommend your flat In Rome to our friends.
Your family and your house were an important part of our perfect Rome vacation!!!)))
It was my first experience with Airbnb and a wonderful one. Allegra and her family were the best hosts, warm, joyful and interesting. In their cosy, big and bright kitchen, we had great conversations over drinks or dinner/lunch and learnt a lot about Rome, Italians, etc. We felt totally at home! Allegra's place is full with good vibes and joy. Important to me: the house is very clean and quiet. The bedroom is big and is better than on the picture. The area is not central but with easy access to the centre of Rome (bus+train). Popular, multi-ethnic, it was good to be in a non touristy place to live a "real" Italian experience.
I was only at Allegra and Michele's place for a few hours really, on my way back home. They were very hospitable and helped me sort out airport transit confusion. If you want to be close to central Rome, this is a bit away, 25 - 30 minutes by bus, but it has a different kind of gritty neighbourhood charm, very cosmopolitan.
We stayed with Allegra and her family for 3 nights. Her apartment is accessible by train (tram) and bus from the Roma Termini station and it takes about 15-20mins. The area convenient with shops, restaurants and bars nearby. Our room was clean and comfortable and the apartment is bright and airy. Allegra gave us lots of information- maps, transport, grocery shops, and tourist tips. We felt very at home with the family!
