Byamshire is located a stone's throw away from Grenada's nine hole golf course and is perched atop a hill in a valley over looking a marina inhabited by several species of birds and other wildlife.
The gardens attract hummingbirds which keep coming back to be fed. We are a ten minute drive [ 8 miles ] fom the airport and city centre and a walk away from the famous Grand Anse beach.
My husband and I are the perfect hosts...he will keep you well entertained and I will keep you well fed if needs be. An ideal spot for laid back retirees.
This room can each sleep two persons on a full sized. The room is cooled by tropical breezes or, if necessary, ceiling fans; and there is one shared bathroom.
A covered verandah allows you to enjoy the scenery and the view and, if you feel like it, a snooze in the hammock while being wafted by the breezes. There is also an uncovered deck where you could get ample doses of vitamin D.
From the first moment you step into their home, you feel most welcome. Judith and Tim are absolutely delightful people. The home is charming, spacious and open, with beautiful color schemes and decor. My bedroom was large with plenty of closet space, the bed comfortable and everything spotlessly clean. The bathroom was super clean and everything in first class condition. The home is airy and cool and every window has bug screens, so even though it is a tropical island the house is bug-free. Breakfast is an adventure every day. Judith is a wonderful chef. Every day we were served a delightful bowl of local fruits with readily available explanations as to what each was called and how and where it grew. Judith would then serve a beautifully presented and cooked breakfast, some traditional island dishes and other international favorites. Coffee, tea and filtered water were served and plentiful. I had a great time with Judith and Tim and am attempting to communicate to other potential guests the easy and welcoming experience they will share. I spent a great deal of my time on the island with friends on their boat in the local marina, but thoroughly enjoyed coming "home" in the evenings and sitting with two other charming guests and Judith and Tim. Often Scrabble games (battles) were underway making it even more like home. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the experience I shared and heartily recommend it to anyone.
Our week with Judith and Tim was amazing! We were very much welcomed to their family and treated wonderful. Everyday we had wonderful breakfasts cooked by Judith. I (Sara) am glutenintolerant and Judith baked new kinds of bread for me almost everyday and really made sure that the food was glutenfree. Tim is a wonderful storyteller and we learned so much from them about the history of Grenada. We will be ever thankful for this experience! Everyone who choose Byamshire will love it!
We wish them all the best!

Judith and Tim along with their little dog Princess a.k.a "Killer" TFIC are fabulous hosts. Judith showed me how to make salt fish for breakfast and how to make dumplings. The house has a great view from the porches and the house is wired for 220 and 110. I spent two great days there.
Judith and Tim were very lovely and friendly. They took good care of me and I always felt welcome.
Judith cooks the best breakfast on the island!!!
How could you find a better place to stay in Grenada???
We share more than breakfast with Judith and Tim, just feel like home! The house is amazing, an wonderful garden and what can I say about the cooking. Judith cooked every morning for us, always something different and always local. We never had a so comfortable place to stay and no better host in Grenada, always happy to help you to anything. Joyful and happiness all along our trip.
